Love this group, I have a huge issue with binging on the weekends. I need to retrain my brain. Start 11/1, I am doing a fitness challenge at my gym and that would be a great time to kick this bad habit of ODing on sugar!

A woman in her 30's I work out with takes high blood pressure pills. She never has a very high heart rate or burns many calories according to her HRM. One day, she had forgotten to take her medicine the night before she went to the gym. She did notice a slight hike that next day but otherwise the medicine is doing its job.

I do Les Miles Pump at our gym twice a week. I have seen it changes gals bodies. They now have nice round butts and very defined arms. It isn't my favorite class but I know I need to lift weights as part of staying healthy so that is how I do it. The gals I go with, we do challenge ourselves and squat and lift pretty…

HI Love MFP and need help with the binge. My issue is when I am bored or alone at home. There is no stopping me on the sugar front. Love that I can make this "me against the binge". I have been doing it since I was a teenager and will go the week all on plan but by the weekend things get crazy. I will check in each day and…

As part of clean eating you will probably need to cook and prep food more than you had in the past. Over the weekends, I prepare my grocery list knowing 3 or 4 meals I will make for the week. I have 2 kids with different activities so planning is so important so we don't eat out or grab things that are not as healthy for…

I have a Polar HRM with a chest strap. It does a great job during all my workouts. I lift 2 to 3 times a week and cardio 3 to 4 times a week. So, if I run, lift weights, do spin class, etc. it always captures my calories burned, heart rate and burn zone.

I bought a new strap in November last year and just had to buy a new strap. They were like $18 just for the strap. After time, washing them just doesn't work anymore.

If I run at 5 AM, I don't eat or drink before I go out just get up change clothes and head out the door.

The protein will come from your protein powder. Every powder is so different you will have to probably calculate nutritional info through MFP recipe builder. I try to stick with 20 to 30 grams of protein but usually the higher in protein it sometimes has more calories.

Like other posts said, it depends on quite a bit on how your body can handle those cheat days and what you are doing on those other days with your eating. I tried doing a cheat day and it only started me down the path of bad habits again. So I am now down to one cheat meal a week sometimes two. Any more than that, I start…

If you want to lose weight you would need to hit it pretty hard in those 30 minutes. I would agree with the other post, you should change things up and add strength training in between is a great idea. If you run each day you would easily get bored and your body would get use to it and you may hit a plateau on the weight…

I do body pump twice a week as that is all I can get it in with my schedule. That would be the minimum you should do it so your not sore and can actually go up in weight. Take it easy on the weight the first few times as if you go to heavy (which I did), you will barely be able to sit on the toilet to go to the bathroom…
