  • I get married next year! My plan is to lose a dress size as i'm a UK 10 on top and 12 on the bottom which has always made buying dresses a bit difficult so would like to be a 10 for my wedding.
  • Hi! I'm getting married in September next year but apparently you need to get your dress ordered some 12 months before the wedding for it to be made, altered etc so I really want to start looking in July/August and hopefully be close to my goal weight by then!
  • Ah it is really frustrating. I had that with my last boss who would bring a donut/muffin/cake for everyone and give to each one of us individually so you felt forced to take one... mine usually ended up in a bin when he wasnt looking. Although it doesnt really solve the problem.. I agree with someone above me - you could…
  • I did low carb for a while and had some great results (eg saw some baby abs for the first time!) but I love carbs so I'm back eating more although they tend to be wholewheat, quinoa, etc. Just wondering what everyone considers low carb? I tried to stay under 100grams and now I probably eat 120-150g a day on average, but…
  • That's a very good questions and I'd like to know as well. I'm still losing and have about 4-5kg to lose but also want to gain some muscle so more focused on my measurements than weight but hopefully someone will be able to answer this question :-)
  • Hi there! My stats are very close: 6'1" SW 75kg CW: 69kg GW: 65kg (altough I'll see how I feel at that weight) Age: 30 Just wondering how many calories do you eat a day on average? I'm really struggling to figure it out and used different calculators that give different results.. I guess it's been working so far as I'm…
  • The Hunger Games - Catching fire.. in your pants!
  • Aw I'm the same.. always wear make up! I look better and it makes me feel better:) Also I go to the gym after work so I already have my make up on but I do apply mascara and eye liner (not foundation as it stays on my towel;-) when I work out at weekend just so I dont look washed up (I'm blonde and very fair too! ) :)
  • I like to eat low fat cottage cheese or quark cheese with some blueberries or strawberries. At weekends when I go to to the gym in the morning I'll add a scoop of protein powder to cottage or quark cheese... perfect breakfast:) if you add chocolate protein powder it tastes like chocolate mousse and if you add vanilla it…
  • I've just been diagnosed with anemia and told by my doc to eat more red meat... so it can't be that bad ;-) Your body definitely needs it! Personally, I just dont like it...;-).
  • That's how I am going to make these as well! :)
  • I’m a UK size 8-9 depends on the brand really, I actually bought boots from Primark (not sure if ladies from the US will know it;-) that are a size 7! Shocking as I can never fit into size 8 there so it does depend on the brand but I’m pretty much between 8-9 in general;-)

  • I quickly googled it and it's Jilliam Michael's workout DVD - http://www.amazon.com/Jillian-Michaels-30-Day-Shred/dp/B00127RAJY But to answer your questions, I always go after work... Just take my gym bag with me to work so I have no excuses and just go:) I do a lot of different classes too so I dont get bored.

  • These sounds amazing! Bumping for later!
  • I prefer strength training, I really enjoy it too:) I do cardio but I MUST have a few good songs to push me through it
  • You look amazing!!! Terrific job Meg:)
  • I get my jeans, leggings and trousers from Topshop (not sure of it exists in the US though but try online!) and River Island does longer length too so definitely recommend those two places. Also tallgirls.co.uk But I cant find any workout longer pants so just wear short or cropped pants at the gym:)
  • I definitely agree. I've also noticed that being taller makes me less agile and generally slower compared to shorter girls... especially when doing Zumba, dance fit and even pole dancing! But I'm working on it:)
  • Definitely. I'd love to see her workout and diet plan as well! It's amazing how far she's gone in apparently just 3 months! Although I have a full time job so working out for 8 hrs a day is just not an option ;-)
  • I'm 6 ft 1 and still learning to accept it and find the confidence in me to wear heels as i LOVE high heels and flat shoes are so boring;-) My boyfriend is 6ft 3 and I wish he was taller ;-) like my brother who is 6ft 7!
  • Yaaaay!!! I love Christmas :-) and the Coca Cola Ad is definitely the start of the countdown! Managed to see the Christmas Coca Cola truck in Manchester December last year! There was a gospel choir and it was snowing... very magical! Only 6 weeks left now ;-)
  • Bump! I also like to make an iced vanilla latte - A scoop of vanilla protein powder, around 300ml of milk (I like coconut or cow's milk), spoon of coffee and lots of ice cubes! I also like to mix vanilla protein powder with any fruits that I have (blueberries or strawberries or raspberries and maybe a banana); blend them…
  • Tons of great info here! Bumping for later:)
  • Bumping for later and thank you for the info. I've been trying to eat primal for the past 2 months now and I was actually surprised at how easily I've managed to stay away from bread, pasta, cookies:) etc which I used to LOVE and crave! The only thing that i need to overcome to be truly Primal is dairy (i love cottage…
  • Oh I wish I had found this thread a month ago! I want to join the challenge too:) I've actualy just started reading Primal Blueprint and found it extremely interesting. I need to bump this post to read it later:) as I see there is a lot of useful info here. Thanks guys.
