Take a couple of herbal sleeping tablets and some magnesium and hope for the best! Depends what time I wake though. If it's after 3am then it's all over and I'll usually just get up.

Incredibly inspiring! You've worked damn hard and it shows. Makes me wish I'd taken progress pics along the way too. At the time you don't feel like much is changing but at the end you look back and think "Damn, what a difference". Congrats and I'm sure the second half of your mission will be just as successful

I love this post!! Thank you, it was a really good read (not too long at all)

I have very high arches (and wide feet :grumble: ) and have switched over to Brooks GTS and love them. I'm on my third pair now. Previously I was wearing Mizuno Wave Alchemy which were really good too. Definitely prefer Brooks though.

I lift because it makes me strong and happy... but I do get plenty of cardio as well (I'm training for Tough Mudder so need to be able to do everything and be a total she-beast!) I'd love some friends who train with weights on a regular basis!

I'm on here every day without fail and always try to offer meaningful support to my small friend list. Anyone can add me too
-
Same here! I'm logging every day and have an active fitbit account. Always keen for new friends on both! https://www.fitbit.com/user/28GB9N

A great progression and wonderful photos!! Congrats on your achievements and being able to move on from the number on the scale. That's not easy to do

Day 964 today and still here logging every day even though I've been maintaining for almost 2 years! Anyone can add me... obviously I'm on here every day

Hi everyone!! (just woke up). I'm from Auckland city in beautiful New Zealand

That's awesome! Well done on sticking with it and reaching 30 days of logging. Next stop 60 days! I never thought I'd last long with MFP... 953 days later, I'm still here and still loving it

I'm always happy to support anyone that needs it! I'm, 37 years old, 5'8 and started out at 246lb. I'm now 168 and have been maintaining for nearly 2 years. I still log daily and have done so every day since I started on MFP. Always keen to cheer on new MFP friends

What an amazing accomplishment! You look super strong and absolutely incredible. WOW! You are such an inspiration and it really goes to show what you can achieve when you set your heart and mind onto something. STUNNING results

What a wonderful accomplishment! A lot of hard work but boy does it show. Amazing stuff

This is something I'm interested in finding more of too. The only podcast I listen to is Jillian and while I really enjoy it... I really rip through the episodes on my long weekly walks so need to find something else that's both entertaining and inspiring!

The one and only thing that I can't stand is people who insist on wiping down the gym gear/machines/mats etc with their sweat-covered, disgusting towels. I would be less offended if they just walked off and left it sweaty!! Uggh

I use them for much the same reason. Not all the time, rather when my energy isn't quite where it should be, or I know I have a particularly tough workout ahead. To find the brand I now use I went around the sports stores and asked for sample sachets of pre-workouts. They were quite happy to give me a load of different…

You've done an amazing job losing so much already! I'm keen to share the next 20-30lbs with you

I loved Fraggle Rock! Madame Trash heap, Red and the Doozers... awesome TV
-
Hehe! I love this. Well done on just getting on with it and getting the job done. Being strong certainly has its upside!
-
Hehe! My calculator, notebook and cellphone... vital MFP tools

I was 246lb (that's pretty close!) and have been lifting throughout my 83lb weight loss (3 times per week) with cardio as well. Goodbye jiggle!! This is the only comparison pic I've done but the after photo was taken almost 7 months ago. And I agree... you do look awesome. Well done on your loss so far!
-
I've been on it for a very long time. Yes... I gained a lot of weight while on it but it wasn't depo, it was just me jamming too much food into my face and not moving enough. I'm still on it now and have lost 84lb - I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My doctor says that all the weight training I do should continue to…

I'm 5'8 and started out at 246lb and am currently just over 160 Body fat has gone from 38% to 24%

Love it!! Well done. It's such a good feeling when you start seeing the results of your hard work. Congrats

I'm here every day (day 637 today) and always comment! You'll crack it this time. Oh, and welcome back!

Definitely no need for a pity party!! Those photos are amazing. What a great accomplishment :flowerforyou:

I thought I'd have given this up ages ago but I'm fast approaching the 2 year mark of daily logging and can't see myself stopping in the immediate future. I haven't tried NOT logging so don't know how I'd go without it. Interesting to think about actually. For my peace of mind, I think I'll just keep logging! It's…
