Hi! Feel free to add me if you'd like. I'm 153 and so far have lost 85 lbs and am looking to get to 138. And I'm 5'7". Match made in heaven :)

The only way to get stronger arms is to lift heavy stuff. If you can't do 5 push ups right now, just do as many as you can, take a rest and do as many more as you can. You have to practice growing muscle, you're never going to be able to lift or do a lot right off of the bat. So just start with whatever you can lift 8-10…

Cut up an apple, sprinkle on some cinnamon and a tiny bit of sugar and put in the microwave for 90 seconds. YUM and i'm never a fan of satisfying a sugar craving with processed sugar crap, just makes you crave more sugar crap. If you need something sweet fruit has the fiber and the mass to fill you up.

Thank you and looking at your ticker it looks like you've done a really great job too!
-
Have you tried to totally change up your workouts or adding in HIITs?
-
Lactic acid build up I kept telling myself. Plus when you're in a plateau eating crap all the time and skipping workouts DEFINATELY is not gonna help so what's the point in giving up and doing that?! If you give up you just have to start over later unless you plan on being out of shape forEVER.
-
Thank you!! All I want is just for one person who's struggling to know that it's possible and not give up!

That's totally it! I used to let that number dictate my mood. I can't even count the number of times I totally fell of the wagon for months because of a stupid number not acting the way I thought it 'SHOULD ... silly me :)

Are you working out?
-
Just my two cents but I get to eat pretty much as much as I want because I DO exercise... there's no way I would deprive myself of food just to lose weight, it's all a balancing act... plus working out gives other benefits as well such as increased strength, stamina and health. Have you considered adding in some additional…

The workouts are between 15 minutes and 55 minutes... average workout would be 30-45 minutes. I didn't have any problems with my knees and they have someone on there that shows a modified move for everything that is knee friendly for every move.

I did Insanity and then Turbo... Insanity is definately harder BUT for me at least it was way more fun and i found i could do it 100% without stopping and do it full out. I wear a heart rate monitor and i got the same caloric burn per minute or BETTER with turbofire. My biggest thing was sticking with it... i had a much…

Directly from an interview with Shaun T So there is a difference between this and Insanity "What’s the ONE thing that sets FOCUS T25 apart, Shaun? This 25-minute workout is jam-packed with everything you need to get an amazing workout with minimum equipment. It’s not overwhelming. A lot of people think because it’s me it’s…

Belly fat will not go away if you do crunches or sit ups or anything else like that for that matter. Cardio will get rid of belly fat. Core exercises will help you hold in what you have better but won't get rid of what you have. Gotta get your heart rate up to burn off that fat. Everyone has a 6 pack, it just depends how…

I have a two year old and I do turbo fire in my living room.... Such a killer cardio workout and she somehow likes to watch.... Usually she's a crazy person!

Thank you all! I just keep reminding myself 25 lbs is NOT that much left. Gotta keep going!!

What do you want more the combo or to be a healthy weight? If you only have one cheat over the weekend then you're fine, just make sure you decide beforehand when you want that to be and make sure you are good the rest of the time. We like to get out of the house too and meals are the easiest way to do that but could you…

I just sent you a private message... feel free to add me if you like.

I have almost the identical story, lost the baby 60 lbs and another 15 but have 25 left t go to get where I was before marriage. I've got a lot of suggestions exercise wise if you want to add me and we can chat, that's the side of this journey that I'm great at. The eating is my weak spot!

I'd be super happy to help with whatever I possibly can. I've lost 85 lbs and would never have done so without the support groups that I've formed ver time and I totally believe that very few people can do this alone. I can't see the original message right now but I don't remember seeing anything in your post about…

I feel your pain...life for me has been stressful to say the least, 9 months of trying to sell a house while commuting 3+ hours a day in the snow while dealing with spouse's unemployment and having 100 lbs to lose. But the way that I stuck with it and am now 25 lbs away from my goal is building a great support system.…

Hey there, I'm currently on a kick of finding people to help pay it forward so please add me if you'd like. Basically my story is that I have yo yo d a lit in the past then got pregnant and gained 60 more so I was up to 238. In a year and a half since then I've lost 85 lbs and then gained 10 back but I'm headed back down…

I'm absolutely in love with turbo... So much so that I had to stop p90x to restart doing a hybrid with p90x and turbo because I missed it so much. Feel free to add me if you want a friend to get through the program and to figure out what's next after that!
-
Hey there! I'm more than willing to help! I've had some really awesome people help me in my journey to lose 100... I feel like its time to pay it forward as well as to have some support of myself as well as I push for the last 25 lbs. add me if you'd like but be warned that I will nag and nag if I see you slipping! :)

Are you looking to be active on the site with keeping your friends on here on track? I'm back on the wagon after a slight detour but all in all I've lost 8o+ lbs but would really like some people who will keep me n track while I return the favor... If you're interested in doing so feel free to add me, I'll help in any way…

Are you planning to use exercise to lose the 55? I'm a super good workout cheerleader... Not always perfect with food but as long as I keep trying I figure I haven't lost the battle with food! I've lost over 80lbs so I know where you're coming from and it always helps to have people pushing you to keep going so go ahead…
-
I know one hundred percent where you are coming from. For the last 9 months I was working 1.5 hours from home while we tried to sell our house. Over that same time frame plus a few months I also managed to lose 85 lbs (I've gained back 10 but I'm working on that ).... I know what it feels like to fall off the bandwagon…

Oh i would totally recommend Turbofire... i had a little trouble really getting through Insanity and I had no problems with Turbo but it still was a challenge. I love that Beachbody has coaches too because the difference this time is that i had a challenge group with Insanity ... do you have a coach and everything. I'm not…
