I just got a FitBit also and started using it today! I don't know how you can add me since I'm new to this. :)

I do body combat at my gym and I burn between 600-700 calories for 50 minutes. The highest my heart rate has gone up was 188 - it was a rough work day, I needed to get some anger out. :) I'm 5'2 and weigh 169.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of this, good to know!

That's great! See your macros makes me feel so much better. I checked my macros yesterday and was very discouraged by the fat percentage. So I'm assuming it's normal to have a high fat percentage?

Not a success story yet, but I will be! I'm on week 3 and I'm loving it so far. Honestly, there have been several times when I wouldn't want to work out but you have to tell yourself that it's only 25 minutes and they go by fast! I actually have a lot of energy and thank goodness for Tania and the modifying she does and…

Free weights for sure. In the beginning I would use the machines because they were a bit less intimidating but eventually found my way to free weights and found that they were much more effective.

Hi! I currently live in Claremont but work in Orange, California. Where in LA are you going to be moving. Depending on where you live, I could give you a few places to check out.

Looking snazzy! Great job, you look awesome!

Well first you just have to get started. You said you did the first 3 weeks of insanity in November which is great. Some people don't even last a week. You have the tools in front of you. When it comes down to nutrition, I don't know your stats but more than likely you're going to have to eat more... I would say at least…

I'm Asian and I live off of white rice.

You look amazing!!! Great work.

I started Turbo Fire yesterday and felt like a total klutz. Please tell me others felt the same way! :)

I used to think that the weekends were hard too but as I got healthier I made smarter decisions. I haven't had a cheat day or meal in over 30 days and I'm completely fine with it. I make sure I get a morning run in if I know I'll be exceeding my calorie intake.

take a nap and then cook dinner then gym and try to be in bed before midnight

I can't stand it when someone doesn't peel string cheese and just bites into it. =D

Remember it's 70% diet, 20% exercise, and 10% mental. At least for me it is. Every time I want to give up I just have to remind myself why I started in the first place. Also, don't focus on the number on the scale. Take measurements and progress pictures. You can do it.

Watching TV and gagging just a bit every time a fast-food commercial came on. I used to live off of Carl's Jr & Jack In The Box.

First off, I'm sorry someone called your undesirable because they say you're "skinny fat". Skinny fat is a person who is not overweight and have a skinny look but still have a high fat percentage and low muscular mass. If you think you are skinny fat, then start lifting to burn off the fat.

I suppose it would be possible but it will be very hard. On your weigh tloss ticket it says you've lost 27lbs, which is great! How long did it take you to lose that amount of weight? At some point you're going to hit a plateau. You say you weigh 188lbs and you're 5'3'' and I can't imagine doctors advising you need to lose…

Sounds about right.

That's a great initial weight loss. Since you say you don't eat back your workout calories and you get plenty of food, then that's great but don't get discouraged when the loss isn't as quick. It will slow down but keep doing what you're doing!

Lucky for me, I don't really see any Girl Scouts and even better for me, I'm not much of a fan of the cookies. :)

You need to be eating more. I set myself at 1500 calories and for three weeks, I hadn't lost a single pound and I was working out 5-6 days a week doing 45 minutes of cardio and lifting 3 times a week. You would think I would lose something, right? Wrong. After a lot of research, I upped my calories to 1700 and decreased my…

Not at all. My boyfriend and I workout together all the time. We aren't in the greatest shape so we're committed to living better lifestyles. We've started cooking together and going to the gym together. He's my spotter and motivates me to work harder. Sometimes he's afraid he's not pushing me hard enough because he knows…

I workout at least 5 days a week but I always try to workout 6 days. Lately it's looked like this: Monday - chest & triceps, 30-45 mins of cardio Tuesday - 45 mins of cardio Wednesday - Back & biceps,30- 45 mins of cardio Thursday - 30 minutes of cardio in the morning, Legs at night Friday - Shoulders & abs, 30-45 mins of…
