Hottest? Not really sure. Worst? The accent people from Alabama have -.-

I like your topic :) Keep up the good work!

If you want to reduce sodium, just try and avoid the processed foods. Processed foods have high sodium and low potassium, whereas fresh fruits and veggies have high potassium and low sodium. Aim for high potassium! One week at a time :)

They're good for you!! Don't give them up, just reduce the amount you have. For example, tomorrow only have 3/4 of an avocado :)

Since you're so busy, I would start out with 30 day shred. I've been working out (running, gym etc) for 2-3 years, and Jillian gives me a light sweat in the morning. It's what I'm doing since I'm so busy this month.

I don't really know much about it, but my co-worker has inflamed bowels and she's trying the FODMAPs diet. If you google it, or 'ulcerative colitis diet' it could give you some ideas. :)

Lololol @ this post. For me it would be peanut butter (omg<3), bread (in certain amounts), veggies, hummus, soy nuts, oatmeal, berries, eggs & all-bran buds :)

I don't eat past 7 pm. To reduce my cravings though I drink 2 mugs of green tea. It seems to work :) I definitely feel better in the morning, and am not bloated when I go to bed. I think it has helped reduce my weight loss. My friend did it for one month, without changing any of her dietary habits, and she lost 6 pounds.

I take omega-3 supplements, only because I know I won't get enough from the foods I eat everyday. I'm currently living under my parent's preferences for food :p

I like a banana or piece of bread & peanut butter. Nom.

I like the idea! I've always wanted to come out of my freshman year saying that I avoided the 'Freshman 15'. Lets do it! I start university September 7th... so nervous!

soccer<33 i'd date any guy that has good endurance ;)

My co-worker said she tried cornflakes for the batter. I don't know the exact recipe, but it's a good starting point! :)

A calorie IS a calorie, no matter where it comes from. I think that if the situation you stated above were to occur, both people would lose weight, since losing weight is all about calorie reduction. The difference would only be in how the two people feel physically and mentally. The person eating candy-bars all day would…

I wouldn't bother monitoring the sugars. I always go over on mine. I would just measure carbohydrates since that includes sugar, fibre and starch.

Studies have shown that the more you exercise, the less cramping you'll have during periods. Less cramping.. lose weight.. it's the best of both worlds!

Thank you for the leg-out! & LOL at the L-Kick. I found that move, but I hope it's not what it actually is. Thanks though! Edit: I think I found it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45YVKSQN88E Makes sense. Thank you!
-
Haha that's ok! :) Now I just need to figure out what L-Kicks are and what Leg-Outs are.

It means how many heart beats per minute. I'm not too sure with accuracy, a heart rate monitor might be better. A good way to know how many beats you should 'max' is 220 minus your age. (not sure where the 220 came from).

Try stretching your calf muscles. You basically stand on 1 leg, flex your foot up (so your toe is pointing towards the ceiling) as high as you can, then point it down (towards the ground) as low as you can. I do this about 10-15 times on each foot. I think this helps with shin splints/prevents them. Hope this helps!

I know what good fats are, and where too get them. I'm just wondering if too much of the good fats would put any risk to your health.
-
I eat veggies like, erry day. Some days I go over. I do see some people without veggies or fruit, but I just ignore it and let them do what they like.
-
Yeah, I've always limited my nut intake (ha except for today, go figure) and not to go over 1/4 of a cup per day. I even tried googling it and I didn't find anything. I'll ask my supervisor tomorrow! :) Thanks.

Cinnamon, strawberries, soy nuts, + all brun buds. yumm.

9 lbs in about 3 weeks? I'm estimating that at least 6 pounds was water weight though.

Cardio, cardio, cardio! I run almost every day and that last little piece of belly is almost gone! Now for the rest of my body.. "ahem" my legs and butt, that's a different story.
-
If it's like mustard (no cal, just sodium), pepper, salt, etc I don't bother logging it. Just major food & drink I log.
-
Just the topic I was waiting for! Nuts ARE good for you. Although they are high in fat, it's the GOOD fat that's in them. I think I found a study showing people who incorporated nuts lost more weight than those who didn't. Because they are of such high calorie, 1 serving of nuts is best. (1/4 cup)

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks! :)

Unsalted, unbuttered popcorn usually works best for me. I think 1 cup = 100 calories. I also enjoy dark chocolate (studies say it helps benefit your cardiovascular system - yay!). I like having the Yopliat Source Dessert Selections. Some people may find it disgusting how yogurt can taste like chocolate, parfaits, or cafe…
