  • I set my calorie goal to 1,300 per day and did 30DS, lasted 15 days and there was a HUGE difference. I didn't lose much weight, but I lost ALOT of inches. It's so boring and I hate Jillian lol.. but it really is amazing.
  • You're supposed to do it every day. :)
  • I use the 5K runner app. It is very simple, tells you when to walk, when to run. When you're halfway done and need to start going back home. Can play your music or listen to Pandora while using the app. :) And I just bought the Ease into 5K one... don't like it.. Not as simple as the other. You have to buy the calorie…
  • Just did W1/D1 tonight and I surprised myself! I'm just shy of 22, 5'2" 135 lbs.. Haven't ran since I was a junior in high school so five years and I made it through the whole thing! It wasn't easy, felt like my lungs were exploding, but I pushed through! Planning my first 5K in July :)
  • I havent done alot of weight training, I need to add more of that in. My exercise consists of elliPtical, walking, Turbo Jam, and 30DS. My baby is 1 year old so I can't use that as an excuse lol & I'm 10 lbs lighter than My prepregnancy weight. I think weight lifting will probably make a big difference..
  • Forgot that I work as a nurse and work twelves on my feet the entire time prob walk at least 3 miles every work day. And I never snack at work because I don't hAve time..
  • I think I'm broken lol... 5'3" exactly 138lbs wear a size 12 pants.. I have a very awkward body type, big boobs and stomach, with a million stretch marks and c-section overhang... & no butt to hold pants on.. I hate wearing jeans for this reason. I've been Getting Walmart brand pants though, maybe I need to try a different…
  • I changed it lol!
  • If it didn't get harder it wouldn't do what it's meant to do! :) The first 3 days of each level are the hardest, but you can do it!! It's so worth it!!
  • Just when ya start to feel like you've got it, you move up a level and hell starts all over again ;)
  • I'm a few days late, but I would love to join you ladies! I started this about a month ago, got to L2D2 and got really sick and quit for a few days and never picked it back up, but I had AWESOME results just in those almost two weeks. I'll move on to level 2 when you guys do and just do level 3 a few extra days after you…
  • The reasoning behind the low carb diet is because your body burns carbs for energy first, then fat, then protein. So if you are eating low to no carbs, in theory your body will use all fat for energy and you will lose more fat. :)
  • Done with my first 100! I'm going to shoot for 10,000 in November because while it really got my heart pumpin, I know I could do more. So 333 a day starting in Nov. It's an extra 80-90 calories a day so that will be great! :)
  • Well here it goes! Have only been at it since the first of September.. Had a baby in April and decided it was time to do something when I started gaining weight at a rapid rate of speed.. :) hope it works right I'm on my phone July 4th, 3 months post partum! Heaviest ever..
  • There's just under ten weeks till Xmas, so 2 lbs per week. Work our butts off!! :)
  • I love turbo too! It's the only exercise I've found that I really truly love! But I think shred is more effective and you see results faster so combine them and whala! A great rotation :)
  • I would love to do this!!! I'm at 144 now, 5'3" :) want to lose 15-20 lbs by Xmas! Gonna go catch up on the thread now :)
  • What do you guys do to burn that many cals? That seems like a ton to me!
  • Turbo Jam!! I absolutely love it! Never gets boring :) And it's like a punch, kick, kickboxing, dance workout. Did I say I LOVE IT! :)
  • I know alot of people who LOVE Zumba :) We have that at our gym as well... I don't like it so much because I'm not a dance type person, but I've only been once so I think that If I were more confident with the moves I'd have more fun with it ... Just try a bunch of different things and keep at the one you like the most!!
  • You can get it at beachbody.com and probably see clips from it on youtube... It's a DVD exercise program that combines kickboxing and dance to really upbeat music. It's pretty pricey, but I love it.. That's the thing you have to find something you love, because kickboxing is my love! :) && Don't be afraid of gym classes, I…
  • Turbo jam! :) I love it and it's fun! I also find it much easier to go to the gym to work out and watch TV while I'm on the elliptical or something because it's a 20 minute drive to the gym and if I can get myself there, I usually end up working hard because I drove to get there and can't just stop and go snack or sit on…
  • I LOVE Turbo Jam :) It's so much fun. It's my favorite exercise video group and i've tried them all. I don't even feel like I'm working out! When I was doing it consistently I noticed huge results in a couple weeks, but haven't done it in a while...
