Hi! Would love some friends so I can participate in the challenges. Had the fitbit charge for about a week now :) Profile https://www.fitbit.com/user/3SC4VJ

Hi! I am currently doing BBG 2.0 and it has weights throughout the whole thing. The squats are with with 15-20 kilos and the steps ups, walking lunges, burpess also have weights, loving it at the moment! If you wanted to go heavier I would recommend New Rules of Lifting for Women or the Lean and Strong version of Michelle…

I found it hard to do the 30 day shred as it got a bit boring after a while. I did however finish a round of Jillian Michaels Body revolution which was 15 different DVDs over 90 days and I don't think I've ever been this fit. Highly recommended!

I done a round last year and lost 10 kilos in 12 weeks. It is expensive but I done the $19.99/week option and it's worth it for the recipes you get to keep afterwards! I have over 400 recipes and still haven't had a chance to try them all. I'm going to sign up to the next round again and do the lean and strong program and…

I recommend seeing a doctor, if only for the fact that if you haven't been for a while you will be able to get a full check up and ask them about the dizzy spells then. I found out a year or so ago I was insulin resistant (which is a high risk in my family) and puts me at risk for diabetes and I had no symptoms apart from…

I love all Jillian Michaels workouts, highly recommended! I done the yoga meltdown this afternoon and 6 week 6 pack yesterday. I also am about to finish my first round of her Body Revolution program which is 15 different workouts. I think I am going to start again with heavier weights I enjoyed it that much.

All added thanks. Any other new people out there? :)

Thanks everyone! :)

Hello! I'm a 28 year old from NSW Australia almost finished a psychology degree while working full time in smash repairs. Looking for new friends also :)
-
Keep going and you will get there! I'm just about to finish the last days (workouts 11 and 12 1 more time) and I always hated the first days of the newer workouts as it was all too hard and when I look back at what I can do now compared to the beginning is amazing. Good luck! It's my favourite workout program :)

I second the "New Rules of Lifting" Series. I have new rules of lifting for women and new rules of lifting for abs. Highly recommended! I have also heard many good things about Stronglifts. If you google Nia Shanks or Girls gone strong their blogs have some workout routines there but as mentioned I recommend getting a…

Fantastic work, you look amazing! I have four workouts to go (11 and 12) and I am finished Jillian Michaels Body revolution. I love it and am seriously considering starting over with heavier weights :)

I'm up to day 61/90 with Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. I really enjoy it. It's three workouts rotated for two weeks and then changed every two weeks getting progressively harder. There are 15 different workouts in total. Once I'm finished this I would like to give Insanity a go, I've heard many good things from that.…

I will add you! I've just signed up for round 3, my first round. Looking forward to it!

I always make a big pot of beef or chicken soup using the left over veggies from the week. Gives me lunches for the week then and I keep it interesting with herbs/spices and different vegetable combinations :)

About 53 bpm now. It used to be about 100 before I had open heart surgery to fix a hole in my heart and lost weight. All good now :) I measure mine with a Polar FT4

I am only up to phase 2 but I am thinking what I'll do after this. I'd like to get P90X a go but I really like the idea of JM workouts only being 35 minutes long instead of an hour. I also think I will redo with heavier weights. I notice your original post is almost a month ago - What did you decide on?
-
I don't mind the cardio dvds! I'm up to phase 2 and enjoy that much more than the cardio 1 dvd. It is winter here in Australia at the moment now though and dark when I go to work and by the time I get home so it suits me well. I also don't burn as many calories though so if I have the time I enjoy taking my dog for a long…

I started phase 2 this week! I loved the new cardio I enjoyed that much more. Phase two is much more harder for me and I am so much sorer. Having a unscheduled break today and going to try and do workout 5 and 6 together tomorrow after a good rest and sleep in :)
-
Good luck! I'm up to day 32 and loving it :) Each new workout dvd is exciting, scary and challenging but by the end of the two weeks it's amazing how much easier it becomes.

What do you mean schedules, as in specific times per week to work out? I am currently doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and it it 6 days on 1 day off. I'm really enjoying this program.
-
I just finished workout three for the second time today! I agree with many other posters, the first time was hell I almost cried it was so intense and difficult with the moves, but this week I actually enjoyed the challenge as I knew what was expected. Keep pushing through and you will get there eventually! :)

Feel free to add me as a friend if you like! I stumbled upon primal and Marks Daily Apple after finding out I was insulin resistant and have eaten this way for about two years now, not 100% but consistently as possible :) Haven't felt this good in a long time

I don't have a kettlebell (would like one!) but a quick google search found these websites hope they help: http://greatist.com/fitness/22-kick-*kitten*-kettlebell-exercises A few of them there mention they target the chest. Good luck :)
-
I have the exact same as the above poster as I work out at home too. If you have the book it explains all the moves and at home variations. The full nrolfw program is approx 6 months long

Friend request sent! I'm starting it tonight after work :)

I normally go to the gym in the morning, and if I do I eat breakfast at my desk which is usually a coffee and nut bar or protein shake and banana. I can have something more substantial in my 10am break if I like which I would prepare the night before. Good luck, as someone mentioned before I"m sure if you organise yourself…

I've just finished (this morning) the NROLFW Stage 2 and I do the 15 minute interval training afterwards. I usually do the program 3 days per week. I also run a 5k twice a week to try and improve my time. If I'm really sore from either workouts I take a break but it seems to be working for me so far. I think the best thing…
