What do you mean schedules, as in specific times per week to work out?
I am currently doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and it it 6 days on 1 day off. I'm really enjoying this program.0 -
I think they're all the same basic concept...stick to one for awhile then move to the next.
But honestly, I can't say I know.
How many are you doing? Why not customize your own plan? A day for abs, a day for legs, a day for arms, a day for all over, some cardio drills here and there. After I complete my Turbo Jam/Chalean Extreme hybrid, I plan to do a bunch of Jillian stuff + the Shred + Hip Hop Abs for a month and see where it takes me.
Everything is customizable. Work it to fit your needs!0 -
I have to say, I love the JM DVDs because they are 25 - 30 minutes. An hour workout just sets me up for failure so I would not try PX90, etc.... It is hard to find an excuse to avoid 30 minutes of movement a day.
I did the 30 Day Shred. Could barely walk the first week. lol But I stuck with it. I had only 28 days before a vacation, so I doubled up twice and it was doable. Not much stretching, but you can add stretching at the end if you want. It is 30 days, EVERY DAY for 30 days. You can do it.
Then I did Ripped in 30. I got through a week and 3 days and got a shoulder injury. This program is 6 days on, one day off. I found there was more stretching, but I still would have liked more. The moves had more variety, which was nice, but were more complex, and I felt like my form was not good. Instead of slowing down and concentrating on my form, I tried to keep up. Bad move. I ended up losing a month and was out about $300 in accupuncture to fix my shoulder (covered my medical thankfully, but set me back in my fitness goals).
Now I want to do Body Revolution. The reviews are great and I am looking forward to the challenge. Anyone want to do the program with me? I need to order it, may take 2 weeks to begin.0 -
