You can totally do it! My belly was rather large and by using a calorie deficit and some exercise it's brought it right down. My goal has changed a few times. Originally it was to get to 165lbs then after I reached that I aimed for 150lbs and now I weigh 132.8lbs (I'm 5'5). Thinking my final goal will be around the 128lb mark but I'm not going to sweat it if I'm 1 or 2lbs away from that.

Ive logged my food for over 235 days now so a wee while. It becomes second nature and even if I'm busy during the day I'll make mental notes and log once I'm home. I purely watch my calories. I haven't focused on macros/carbs/protein. I don't know enough about it yet to worry about it :) Calories is a brilliant place to start and I'd say that once you had that sorted then look at other elements. I'm 5'5 and have gone from 200lbs to 147 at the moment. I'm current eating 1520 calories and still losing so I'd say definitely increase your cals. Epecially if you're exercising quite a bit.
