Put your BIG GIRL panties on and take ownership of your own choices. He can't sabatoge you without your permission. Good word to learn "NO".

Tattoos are like a lot of things in life. If you have to ask the question - you will never understand the answer. I have my tattoo for my own reason and nobody has a right to know that reason. I go camping for my own reasons; I run for my own reasons; I married my husband for my own reasons. Get it??????

Just make the committment to do it ONE day. Once you go through the day feeling like you have the world by the tail it will be easier to do it the next day and then the next and the next. I get up at 4:30 and take an hour for coffee and "business";-) Out for my run at 5:30. It is such an awesome way to start the day I…

I'm a 34D and I love the Champion sports bras. They hook in the back so you don't have to do the over the head thing and nothin's movin' when I have one on. I run 4 miles 3 times a week and a long run of 7 - 10 miles on the weekend.

I use the protien on MFP as a minimum. It's my goal every day to go over the amount listed. As has been said - MFP has it pretty low.

I just did my first half on Sunday. I made sure I ate well the day before - tried to get a decent nights sleep. 2 hrs before race time I started drinking coffee - 4 cups before leaving for the race. Had a Clif bar & a banana. Other than that I didn't have anything other than water at the water stops. Only a couple of…

I have Polar FT4. Wear the strap right under my bra with the sensor right in the middle. Be sure to keep the strap clean - I throw mine in the washing machine on cold and air dry once a week. Also run the contacts under water and get them WET before you put it on. This contact with the skin is what sends your heart rate to…

Yesterday it was a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. So I had that for lunch..........and spent all night in the bathroom. The craving is COMPLETELY gone!!!

Anything you would use in a sandwich can be in a wrap. I rarely eat bread for sandwiches anymore. Whole Wheat wraps are a staple on my grocery list.

I would probably consider spending time with your Mother seperately for Mother's day and void sister. Maybe other family members would put pressure on her to grow up. She must feel threatened to be acting so disrespectfully of someone she is supposed to care about. Talk openly to your Mother now that she is supporting you…

I started running in late October (1 mile) and now am training for a half-marathon (May 6th). I didn't use any programs but have several friends that run so they supported and advised me. I would think if you're committed to a rigid training schedule you can do it. Probably do a couple of 10K's and half-marathons before…

I NEVER thought I would run a mile and now I'm training for a half-marathon (at 53!!) Up to 10 miles - no walking. 12 miles on Saturday!

Too funny. I just ran my first 10 mile run this weekend - training for a half-marathon in 4 weeks. I ran it in 2 hrs 7 minutes and was thrilled!! Exact same per mile time as you but I'm excited and you're discouraged. I can't wait until this time frustrates me too!

I've been divorced for 10 years after 21 years of marriage. We have pretty much always been civil but our kids were both over 18 by the time we divorced. My current husband actually says that of all of my family members he likes to hang out with my ex the most (except for my kids of course!)..You just have to remember that…

Even though I track my calories and exercise daily I really only pay attention to weekly numbers. Therefore, I guess you could say I "save" my calories for another day.

I've always told my kids "Can't means don't want to". Now that I'm training for a half-marathon they tell me that!!!

I count my steps - especially if I'm in a hurry. Fortunately this does NOT carry over to running!!!

Are you using a HRM to calculate the calories burned? 450 seems high for 30 minutes but I don't know your stats. Could be correct. MFP estimates calories burned high.

I wish I would have known it doesn't have to be "all or nothing". This is real life. You get to start over every day. Dieting doesn't work. Lifestyle changes do.

So excited for you!! I'm currently training for my first half too. May 6th. I run a 7 mi this weekend and then increase one mile each week until THE DAY. I'm nervous (don't want to make a fool of myself) but excited too. Running it with people that have done these things before and are so encouraging. Hope to finish in 3…

I love that others come to me for advise and ideas. I never dreamt that I would be ANYONE"S fitness inspiration!!!

Perfect proof that there is no beginning, middle and end. This is an ongoing journey for the rest of our lives! Thanks for the graphics. I am a very visual person and this nailed it on the head!!

Why would you EVER want to flush it with the lid up??? YUCH!. Man or woman - doesn't matter. Down to flush!!!

I was a little intimidated when I started running too. I had NEVER been a runner but was just not getting a workout taking my dog for a walk anymore. Once I got my HRM and realized I was not even in zone I decided it was time for a change. It's amazing but I have heard from people in my neighborhood that I have inspired…

Polar FT4 and runkeeper on my cell for GPS - awesome combination for runners!

Have you had your body fat % calibrated? This number is more important than the scale. I am at my goal weight but my body fat is still 10% over healthy. I have just started strength training. Don't expect to see the scale change but certainly do expect to see the body fat % change.
