  • Oh, to clarify, if you increase you sodium levels, your body will retain water. Try to stick to as close to ~1500mg as you can.
  • 1- First 5 to 10 lost are not necessarily water weight. A lot of that depends on current diet and sodium intake. If you are cleaning up your diet significantly, then yes, you will lose water weight, however if you are running a calorific deficit you will still be losing weight from other sources. 2- First 5 to 10 gained…
  • Double for me the 22nd clocked in at 212.5 and this week came in at 206.6! Was carrying a bit of water weight last week and prob a little under in terms of water today, so not expecting a big drop next week, will be happy with maintenance :-) I lost the butler challenge last week, so I was pretty motivated this week!
  • 210 for me :-) The partner challenge is working really well! A 1.5lb loss.
  • Well the challenge helped! Prob lost a little too much! Down 2.5lbs this weigh in. Aiming for 1.3 lbs this week (May seem an odd number but I work in kg, my actual goal is to be 95.5kg by the end of the week, which means shredding 1.3lbs). Was actually quite nerve racking for the weighin with the partner challenge. We both…
  • Started a weight loss challenge with my partner. Works like this - At the start of the week we set our target, we try to go off % to make it an even playing field. If we both hit our target, we get a reward - Dinner out or something similar. If we both miss, we have a preset task to complete - Clean bathroon/oven etc...…
  • Im in, spreadsheet worked a treat :-)
  • So over the period I gained .5lbs..... Could be worse, could be better. Looking forward to doing another challenge :-)
  • I liked doing it first thing in the morning, it got me going for the day. I also recommend modifying the Insanity programs a little, fairly high intensity on the joints! I have rubber matting I use, and I still modify. I have done Insanity and the T25 variation, T25 is great when the time is squeezed or periods where you…

  • To be honest, I am relatively happy with my fitness. I hate running though! But for me the goal is to look good through an incorporation of a healthy lifestyle. So doing martial arts, swimming, walking, eating healthy. But a big part of it for me is wanting to look good as well :-) So not necessarily losing weight, but…
  • And after 10 weeks so far.........I am exactly the same weight  No mystery though. Exercise has been great, loving the fitbit and hitting some good targets. Plus loving challenges with friends! But I have been enjoying my food  A bit of muscle gain in there as well I think.
  • I couldnt find this for the life of me when they changed the site! Buuuuut found my way eventually :-) All updated now......For better or worse! I am certainly interested in continuing. Summer here in Aussie land, so should be prime weight shifting time!
  • Well........hard one this week! But happy to keep myself honest. 216.5.... Means 2lbs increase. Was eating more and moving less, the basic stuff. But I did pick up a couple of new toys.....got the fitbit scale and the fitbit flex. Will give you all a rundown of how they go next week. Enjoying them so far :-) Goal is to hit…
  • Also, I will certainly be doing another 12 week challenge after this one if anyone is keen :-) Going to need more time to hit my goals :-)
  • 214 this week, so down .5lbs :-) I will take it. Means I am finally under the starting weight for the challenge! This week will be a challenge, but we have the benefit of the weather warming up here now :-) Spring is sprung, so the great outdoors beckons! Ate maintainence for 2 days, and went over on 2. Had 3 win days.…
  • Hope everyone is doing well! I am managing to keep it together thus far this week. Looking at another drop this week. Will be the first back to back loss for a long time, so happy with that. Keep strong all!
  • Feel free to add me for extra motivation as well :-)
  • The lowest mine has are 1.25kg as well. I purchased some microweights so I actually take them with me to the gym. What I would do, don't worry about searching for the magic number of sets and reps, just think of yourself being here for the long haul. If you have started with this particular program recently, measure your…
  • People get all caught up in tricky exercises and volume vs non volume arguement. THE GOLDEN RULE - The overload principle. Everyone is different, hence why you see passionate debates about this kind of thing. What I would reccomend is be strict with recording the weight you are lifting, and make sure you are increasing it…
  • Hit 214.5, so down 1.5lbs this week :-) Happy with that all things considered. Ate just over matainence the last 2 days, otherwise it would have been another pound. But I am happy to keep moving in the right direction at a sustainable rate. I found that I over-ate around martial arts sessions, so I am going to have a look…
  • I have been struggling with that for awhile. What has helped me is focus on two things with diet. 1- Fibre - Be aware there are two types. Insoluble fibre and soluble fibre. Try (http://www.webmd.com/diet/fiber-health-benefits-11/insoluble-soluble-fiber) Make sure you get a heap of fibre in the first 6 hours of the day.…
  • 216.5 for me this week. Went up .5lbs. Had 2 martial arts sessions and 3 weight sessions. I am not going to up my exercise overmuch, I am pretty happy with it, I am focusing on diet control. Main thing I am going to attempt this coming week is just to log all my meals. Breakie, mid morning and lunch have all been spot on,…
  • Up 1.5lbs for me :-) But happy overall. Had 3 Martial arts sessions and 2 weights sessions. Brekie till about 3pm is fine, I have to focus on what I do after 3pm. Trying a strategy of upping insouble fibres to feel a bit fuller. Weigh in was 216lbs. Goal for next weigh in is 214 :-)
  • I did a challenge with you a while back JRIV, it worked a treat. Would love to join a little late if that is ok? Let me know if it is and I will add details :)
  • I'm in! Lost it once, time to lose it again :-)
  • I finish 7 years of post grad study in 3 months....then it will be time for the next piece! Want to unite the ones I have in a larger piece.

  • Started about a week and a half ago, really enjoying the workouts :-) I still train with weights 3 days a week, and I modify the program. But loving it so far. Feel free to add me for support. Likely will try P90X or Tapout after this.
