How much of a setback to expect?
I am trying to gain muscle but picked up a stomach bug and today's diet has been atrocious. Next to no protein or fat. Assuming 2 to 3 days to recover and get back into my routine. What kind of setback should I expext? Should I deload?

When to increase weight?
I'm doing SL 5x5. The program calls for adding weight for every successful workout for a given movement. I'm at the point where I'll fail once or twice at a weight the be successful. Is there any harm in changing this to being successful twice (or 3 times). This failure then success seems awful taxing.

Cycling Calories Burned
Ok, I have a question. I get HUGLY differing calorie burns for bike rides. For Example: Sunday I did 40.1 Miles Avg. Pace was 13.8 MPH Moving Time was 2:54:16 Elevation Gain was 1208ft. Would you consider this scenario to be a failed rep? Doing a 5x5 program. Say you are on your fourth set. Just finished your third rep and instead of taking a second to re set your self you take 3 or 4 seconds. Then do the left with good form. Would you say that is a failure?

Possible to squat too low?
When doing squats in an effort to make sure I'm going low enough I go really low. I have noticed lately though that I get a pain in my right hip. It goes away within a day and comes on as soon as I do my first warm up squat with an empty bar. Am I squatting to low? Any tips for knowing you've broken parallel?

Leg cramps?
I'm doing strong lifts 5x5 and I've noticed that days following lifting that my calfs are crampy in the morning. I get plenty of water a day (atleast 12 cups a day). My diary is open. It has everything logged except water. Any input?

Stronglifts twice a week?
Any problem with only doing stronglifts twice a week instead of 3? I like to do other things and now that the weight is heavy recovery takes to long if I do something on the rest days.

Noticed on the bag of microwave popcorn that unpopped a serving is 2TBS for 120cal. but 1 cup of popped is 25 cal. the bag says it has 2.5 servings unpopped and 4.5 servings of popped, so in the whole bag there is 300 cal unpopped, or 112 cal popped. where did the other 178 cal go? can I really eat the entire bag for 112…

Weighing ground beef question?
When I brown ground beef for things like taco's, I cook it then drain the fat off, I know the general consensus is to weight raw but what do I do about the fat I drained off? this last time I poured off 150grams of fat from 2lbs of beef. do I subtract the calories from the fat? 9x150?
