How much of a setback to expect?

I am trying to gain muscle but picked up a stomach bug and today's diet has been atrocious. Next to no protein or fat. Assuming 2 to 3 days to recover and get back into my routine. What kind of setback should I expext? Should I deload?

If you don't have muscle aches, probably minimal,. but depends on the bug and the person. Just see how you feel during your warm up sets -- those will tell you if you need to back off that day.0
