Finding the sweet spot

TDEE calculators
How much credence do you guys put in the online TDEE calculators? When I run my numbers I consistently get ~2300/kcal/day. If I eat that much I will gain weight, I estimate my TDEE to be more in the 1700-1750/day range.

Do you slide on the weekend?
I notice that I tend to go over points much more often on the weekend (Sat specifically) than I do during the week. Wondering if others have similar behavior?

MFP question
I like the MFP exercise tracker but haven't found a way to turn off the tracker so exercise calories are not subtracted from the day's total. I've never been an eat your AP guy, does anyone know how to turn it off?
