Forgot how to do this- have been at maintenance too long!
Hello! I promise this isn’t another “plateau” thread! I’ve been using MFP for just about 4 years now and SW:230. GW:150. I recently went from 150 to 155 from 155 to 160 now over the last 4 or 5 months. I’ve been eating at a “lazy maintenance” for probably almost a year because I’ve been where I wanted to be. I rarely check…

When to eat back exercise calories?
Example: I run at night and my Fitbit gives me exercise calories back for the workout. But obviously when I do it at night. Do I assume to eat back the half of calories during the day assuming I plan to work out? Do I only eat them back after the run at night? When I may or may not be interested in eating them? Silly…

Lowest weight this week?
I weigh myself daily. That’s just how I stay accountable. Silly question. Is my lowest weight that week my “true” weight? Sorry if that doesn’t make any sense!

This is the exact spot I’ve dropped the ball before.
Good morning! So I’ve weighed in the morning and I’m exactly 10 lbs from my goal weight. The last time I was sitting here all proud and feeling great, I dropped the ball and somehow spiraled back to a 70 lb gain. My question is: Besides tightening my logging and weighing everything. Is there anything mentally that you tell…

Popcorn
Does anybody else have this addiction too? Popcorn, all types, flavors, brands. I’m addicted. Yes it’s a light snack but when you can’t help but polish off the bag... How do you cope with that one food you can’t help but feel obsessive about?

Working out hard and still no weight loss.
I started Aug 2016 at 223 lbs. I am a 5’3, 24 year old female who is CW 167 and GW 150. I hit a long plateau for about 6 months where I sat around 180. I tightened up logging and weighed my portions and went down to 170 about 3 months ago. I started doing 30-45 minutes of cardio on treadmill where I sweat and HIIT…

Weight loss and increased hunger from works outs.
So I’ve been doing amazing these last few months with just eating my 1200 calories. I’m not hungry. I’m very satisfied. I had stopped my workouts because I would become ravenously hungry and would always eat way more than my calorie goal then my weight loss slowed to a halt with a plateau for about 2 months. SW 230 GW 150…

Losing weight but still not content. Why?
I’m finally through my plateau and lost an additional 10 lbs over the last 8 weeks. I’ve been at this for 2.5 years with many ups and downs. Now I’m a mere 20 lbs from my long time goal and am currently the lowest I’ve been in 15 years. But I’m still not content or satisfied. Why is that? Anyone else feel this way?

Losing is difficult but not as difficult as maintaining what has been lost.
As my title says. Ive been at this for the last 2 years and am steel bouncing from 20 to 30 lbs from my goal weight. I am 5'3" SW 230 CW 190 GW 160 I got down to 179, tried to maintain it for a few months and swelled back up to 190. I will be honest. It is all me. I got laxed. My question, how do you stay motivated for…

Which scale to trust?
So we have two older digital floor scales and just bought a brand spanking new weight watchers blue tooth scale yesterday. I am 2 whole pounds lighter on the WW scale than I am on the two other digital scales ( which both scales weigh me the same thing ). Which do I trust?

Carbaholics anonymous.
I can limit my calories all I want but if I do not regulate my CARBS I just keep my bloated belly. Something that was so obvious yet I just didn't think of. I have a carb addiction. Pasta, bread, pretzels..you name it, I love it. My two questions. How do you substitute for those carbs? (Share examples!) What motivation do…

Absolutely ravenous.
So, I've been on this journey for 430 days now and have lost 44 lbs. Ive been basically maintaining for about 4 months now and have recently dropped my calories back down to 1200 calories, about a week ago. Yesterday I completely blew my day because I was ridiculously ravenous and ate even things I do not normally like,…

Over half way there and stuck for over 3 months
Thanks for reading. I havd lost 44 lbs with MFP. I have about 25 lbs left to go. Ive been in a plateau for over 3 months. I have become an avid logger. Exercise 4 days per week and hike on weekends. No late night eating. Drinking my 2.2 litres. Weighing my foods. Watching my sodium intake closely. Experimented by weighing…

Pick me apart. Plateaued and in need of modifications.

Listening to the set calories that MFP suggests?
Hey guys! I am about 40 lbs down and 7 months in. Question that I have yet to figure out! So I have been slowly losing on 1300 calories per day. Probably .3 per week. So I cut myself to 1200 for about 3 weeks and have stopped losing and have gained .7 back. I have hypothyroidism to boot. My exercise is the same. I just…

Late night meals and weightloss.
This has been up for debate in my family for years whether or not eating after certain time of night helps aid in weight loss or not. Anyone have thoughts on this topic?
