Just started weight training...
....and worried I'm not doing it right. How much should it hurt the next day? I can feel I've done something, but I'm not sore. Obviously I haven't started very heavy, and I'm focusing on upper body as all the cardio I do is focused on my legs (running and spinning). Any tips for a beginner please?

First 10k - done!
So I only started running 4 months ago and this morning I did my first competitive 10k and despite winds and rain my time was 69 mins and 10 secs - so pleased with that, my target was under 70 mins so I smashed it! That's all really, only came on for a bit of a gloat!

Why doesn't strength training give you calories?
...surely it must burn some? Just tried to log the kettle bell workout I did after my cardio today and i) kettlebell swings aren't even listed but ii) when I try to log it as something equivalent it doesn't give me any calories burnt?? Confused!
