Muscle to fat ratio
I've seen mixed opinions on this and don't see much research. for a male in their late 20's, relatively new to lifting, and around 10% BF, how much muscle to fat can they expect to gain with a 0.5-1 pound per week goal? Proper heavy lifting of course. Anyone have research or their own results they can share?

How do you know when it's time for first bulk?
How can you tell when you're at the right body fat % for a first time bulk? Calipers say I'm at 12%, the bioimpedence scale says I'm at 16%, and in the mirror and comparing with the online pictures I look closer to the 15% category.
