Help! been weighing daily and gained weight
I'm incredibly frustrated. So I've been weighing myself daily which was going well this 1st week. I started at 155 and got down to 152. Then I weighed myself today, which is three weeks into my diet and I weighed 154. What? I know I've been eating less. The only thing I can think is that I'm getting my period this week and…

For Those Who Weigh Themselves Daily
Alright friends of MFP, I've got a question. I'm on week two of my diet/lifestyle change and have chosen to weigh myself daily. Specifically every morning right after I wake up. It holds me accountable which is why I like it, but the daily fluctuations are a bit frustrating. I started out at about 153.8 lbs and at the end…

Losing 20 pounds on a small frame help
Hi there! I'm 5'3 and 150-153 lbs and this frustrates me. I lost 10 pounds in March and got down to 143 but ballooned back up to 153 after all my college finals stress. I'm very muscular and carry the weight all over my body so I don't really look overweight but I don't look slim either. My problem is that I'm kind of at a…

How to be patient with results?
Hey there everybody! So I just started or well restarted my weight loss journey last week (lost 1lb!). I know weight loss is a slow process and results don't happen right away, but I often get discouraged(based on previous weight loss attempts) when a week goes by and I either see no weight loss, a slight gain of like .5…

How big is your breakfast?

Need help staying motivated under stress
So I'm in college and I always do better with sticking to my calorie goal when I'm not worrying about writing papers and tests. For some stupid reason whenever I get stressed out about those things though, I ALWAYS turn to food and I hate it. It's particularly sweets. I'll be super worried about finishing a paper so I will…

What do you do to curb hunger?
I often get hungry in the middle of the day and at night. It's not real hunger, it's more out of boredom. What are some ways to distract myself so I don't end up snacking because I'm bored?

Calorie Consistency Advice
Hi there My Fitness Pal! I used this app for a little while last year but never fully utilized it. I'm going to start counting calories at around 1500 per day. I'm 5'3 and about 146-150 pounds. I exercise 5-6 times a week-mostly cardio but I do want to get more into strength training. Do you guys eat back your calories?…

Haven't Overeaten in 3 Days. How Do I Keep It Up?
So I've had an awesome 3 days so far on mfp. It may not seem like much, but consistency is one of my biggest issues. Knowing myself I'm going to want to give in sometime soon by overeating or not exercising, but I can't do that! If you guys could give me any tips to motivate myself and stay on track that'd be great!

So Frustrated!
im back at where I started 4 weeks ago! And I don't know what to do. I run 30 + miles a week squat everyday and do strength training exercises 2-3 times a week. I've been going to bed slightly hungry each day except for last Monday and Saturday, where I overate. I don't have much weight to lose, but I figured I'd lose or…

so last week wasn't the best I'll admit, but I finally managed to weigh myself today and I gained 2 pounds! I'm so upset. This means I'm pretty much back to where I started 4 weeks ago! I don't know what to do. I'm extremely upset and now seriously lacking motivation.

A little depressed
So last week wasn't a very good one for me. Fitness-wise I met all my goals but, I just overage too much and had lots of pizza. But I woke up this morning feeling really defeated. I didn't weigh myself because I was too afraid and I was rushing to get out the door. Part of me is just sad I guess because my junior year of…

The Most Stressful Month, Help
So I officially have 4 weeks left of classes this semester. My problem is the last month is always the most stressful. I usually neglect exercise and overeat when I'm stressed (like most people, haha) but I don't want to do that this time. Do any of you guys have some advice on dealing with stress? Besides eating…

I Binged. What Now?
So yup, I binged for the first time in 21 days. I was doing so well, but my friends (and myself) wanted to make banana bread with some bad bananas lying around and I probably had 1000-1300 calories from it. I'm not as disappointed as I'd thought I'd be, but that could be because I lost a pound this morning and was feeling…

For Those Who Don't Have Much to Lose
So I'm looking to lose a little over 20 pounds. I'm slightly overweight and I think this would put me in a healthy range. The thing is, since I don't have as much to lose it takes so much longer! I am only about 2 weeks in and have lost about 2 pounds, but my fear is that it was only water weight. When I've tried to lose…

When Did You Start to See Results?
Just curious of when you personally started to notice a change with your body. I've heard everything from 2 weeks to 2 months. I know everyone's body is different, but I'd like to get an idea of when it is people generally start to notice! Also feel free to add me, I'm new and would love motivation buddies

Runners: Sports Bra Chafing
I'm gonna start by saying I have big boobs and I usually double up on sports bras when I run. I'm training for a half marathon and have been running about 30 miles a week and every run past 5 miles involves sports bra chafing. It's the WORST. Usually I can make it through the run fine, but now that I'm running 6+ miles 5…

Progress: staying focused on no results
Alright so I'm only a week into my diet so I'm not expecting to see a whole lot of progress. Im just getting impatient already. How Can I Stop Overeating?
i'm pretty good about exercise and I love me some veggies, but I just am hungry ALL the time. I don't know how to control it because I'll come home and eat all the food I can see and then some.
