Types of Fat?
Looking at my daily fat intake. Wondering why the total of Saturated, Polyunsaturated, Monounsaturated, and Transfat doesn't come even close to Total Fat. What other kinds are there? Searching a bit on the Internet for good and bad fats only talks about the Big Four.

That question about Fat...
Reading on the Internet I am confused about which Fat to eat. Saturated. Monounsaturated. Polyunsaturated. Omega 3. Omega 6. The only one agreed on is No Transfat. Even the government thinks it's bad.

MFP and net carbs?
I've been logging everything and keeping my carbs in the 20 to 35 range most days. I see references to "net carbs". Carbs minus fiber equals net carbs. Is that correct? Is it "carbs" I should be tracking, or "net carbs"? Guess there is no way to set MFP up to do the math?

Ever heard of Salo or Lardo?
Found some cured pork back fat in my local grocery store. Looked it up on the net and found both Salo and Lardo. European ethnic foods. Salt cured, and eaten either raw or fried. Truly a "fat bomb". I've been eating about 60 grams per day for a couple of weeks with no ill effects.

Snack Triggers
I have a terrible problem with my tongue. I have a difficult time telling my body not to eat because my silly tongue is always looking for a salty snack, even though my belly is full. >:) Anyone else have this problem.

What about Mio?
And all of the other water flavouring products. The Internet seems divided on the subject. They do make it easier to drink more water but in reality they're just a bunch of chemicals. Often times I add a slice of lime or lemon instead. Any thoughts?

How do you manage to eat enough fat?
M 5'10", 235, 59, sedentary (arthritic knees) although I do try to walk a couple of miles every day. MFP Set at 1500 calories, carbs at 5%. I'm not doing bad with the carbs if I avoid beer. :'( But I have a hard time eating enough fat and protein while staying under 1500. Been here for a year. Haven't lost hardly anything.…
