Vibrate on goal not working
For the last several days, my Fitbit has not been doing its vibration when I hit my 10,000 step goal. It does still vibrate when I get a call or if I set a silent alarm. I've looked in settings to see if it accidentally got changed, but I don't see anything. Does anyone know how to get it working again. I like knowing when…

Undercounting steps
My Charge HR seems to be undercounting my steps. For a while it seemed to be fairly close to steps counted by my iPhone, but now, it seems the phone is counting fine (about 2000 steps/mile) but the fitbit is missing steps. I took a walk of 2.1 miles (counted by MapMyWalk) this morning, plus some random walking and my phone…

Issue with Fitbit
My charge HR has started separating or having a bubble in the band. What is the best way to contact Fitbit? Email or phone? And what documentation do I need? DH bought it for me in a Black Friday sale and I got it for Christmas.

MFP double counting iPhone steps
I've been using my phone to count my exercise steps for a while now and mostly it works just fine (though it doesn't allow for negative adjustments and I know it's too high), but today it really looked high for just getting ready for my day. When I looked, it shows iOS step adjustment and also MFP adjustments for iOS. Or…

iPhone steps and activity level
I've been having all sorts of trouble getting exercise synced with MFP. At one point I had MapMyWalk syncing, but then suddenly the iPhone steps finally started syncing as well. I was worried they were double counting my walks. Now I'm not sure they were, but it took me several days after fiddling with things to get…

Figuring calories in homemade broth
its coming into fall and I know I will be making soup soon. I make my own stock whenever possible and have some in the freezer already. But even if I try to measure as I make it, I don't really know how. I usually use bones and a bunch of vegetable bits and simmer for hours, but all the bones and veggies then get strained…

Pre diabetes / questions for dr
I have gotten a pre diabetic diagnosis from my dr. Actually last year my A1c was 5.9 I intended to do something about it, but... Well I finally started more exercise and trying to lose weight (and found MFP) about a month before my physical this year. A1c was up to 6.0, but my weight was down just into healthy BMI range…

How to pick maintence range
How do you know what's a good size range to try to maintain in? I know that weight can fluctuate based on various things (salt, TOM, eating out) and I want to set a target range broad enough to not freak out over a temporary weight gain, but not so large to make it a pain to cut back down. I have just gotten into my…

Logging at a potluck?
I'm going to a potluck picnic on Sunday and wondering how and whether to try and log it. I know myself well enough that I will want to try little bits of lots of different things. Many of them homemade, so no way to easily know the calories. How do most people handle this? I can think of several choices... 1. Log the major…

Calories same for maintenance and 0.5 lb wt loss?
So I set my calorie goal to maintence when I went on vacation and did enjoy those extra calories. When I came back I went to reset it to a 0.5 lb a week loss and found that MFP said it was already set to the half pound loss. Huh. So I tried setting to maintain and back to loss and both are showing the same daily calorie…

Help in transition to maintence
I'm almost at my goal weight, only about a pound over what I think I want my range to be. So I know I need to transition to more calories slowly. And to a way that I can live with, without feeling deprived or I won't keep it up. I'm struggling with getting the protein and calories up without feeling like I'm being…

Eating healthy vs eating my goal - can't seem to do both
i can't seem to eat all the calories I'm allotted while still eating healthy. I frequently seem to bump up against my limit on sugar and fat and occasionally carbs, while not eating all my calories much less my extra calories from exercising. This hasn't bothered me too much so far as it means I have been loosing weight…
