fiber
I am trying to take in 2600 calories a day with only 30g of carbs. It is impossible for me to take in enough fiber to meet daily fiber recommendations. The most fiber dense food I have found is psyllium husk with a 1:1 carb/fiber ratio. Does anyone know if anything more potent?

Just started a 17:7 intermittent fast with a ketogenic diet
Like the title says I just stared a 17:7 intermittent fast with a ketogenic diet. I have been intermittent fasting for a couple weeks and feel great on it. Lets see how the ketogenic diet comes into play. Is anyone else keeping their carbs that low?

How does too much protein kick you out of ketosis?
I have been reading conflicting information on blogs and threads. Some people say that too much protein will kick you out of ketosis, others say that you need excess protein. Starvation mode with too much exercise?
If you let your calories drop beyond a certain point for a certain amount of time, your metabolism shuts down. I was wondering, if I keep my calories at a healthy level but do a lot of cardio and weight training, burning enough calories to put me at a low net calorie count for the day, will my body enter its starvation…

I am muscular and fat, trying to loose 30 lbs, post here if you are the same and want to team up
I am 32 years old, 6'2 and 290 lbs. By tape I am 24% body fat, by calipers I am 26% body fat. I want to get in the mid to high teens by the end of the summer, I figure if I loose around 20-30 lbs of body fat I should be good to go.
