Proper measurments
How are the teaspoon/tablespoon measurements done on these MFP food lists? Is 1 teaspoon one exactly leveled-off teaspoon or is it what a teaspoon will actually hold?

How do you guys count this?
How do you folks count a homemade cheeseburger? Just wondering if I have to factor in all the fixins or if it's already counted. What do you think?
-
Why is it?
Why is that that MFP doesn't give you any calorie credit for strength training?

Pretty bumbed about this
Feeling pretty bumbed about MFP's ratings for calories burned since many of you tell me that the amount is way off. I've stopped even counting exercise now although I am still doing it anyway.

Really....REALLY getting fed up!
I've been on MVP since last June. Starting in mid-January I stopped losing. I know that I can't go below the daily calorie limit (1200) because it's not safe, so what can I do to stop this and start losing again? I know I'm counting my food properly and nothing has changed other than the inability to lose weight. Maybe I…

Sero-Vital
Have any of your tried Sero-Vital for weight loss? It's an amino acid tablet that signals your pituitary gland to release HGH (human grown hormone). The ad says is helps build muscle, lose fat, and helps skin look younger. My sister used liquid amino acid compound from Walmart and she lost a lot quickly but they don't sell…

Calculating Calories Burned
Can anyone answer this question: Why is it when I input exercises into MFP, that I get calories burned in the hundreds (like 15 minutes of stationary bicycling), but when I am actually ON the stationary bike, the calorie readout is only 4 or 5 when I'm done. Help???

Weight loss plateaus
What can you tell me about these weight loss plateaus? I figured maybe I'd reach that point after a couple of months of dieting. However, it seems like every single month I stall for about a week or so. Anybody else do this?

I really messed up today.....
Since being on MVP, I've not had an occasion to really want to binge out on junk food. But, today...something (boredom, maybe) had me in the snack drawer. Polished off 15 candy corn pieces, 3 pieces of Russell Stover Marshmallow mini-pumkins, .75 oz of Cheetos, and 11 Beanito snack chips (and least they have a lot of fiber…

Any of you having this problem?
I have been on the MFP 1200 calorie program since July 1. I have lost 15 pounds so far. It is discouraging, but maybe this is the cause: I have no thyroid (two separate operations) and I take a thyroid medication to supplement. Could this be why it is taking me extra long to get the weight off? I am exercising (mostly…

Need help with FIBER
Can you help me figure out what kinds of foods that are good that have a lot of fiber? On MFP, I seem to be getting everything I need for my minerals, etc., but gathering from my trips in the bathroom, I could use more fiber. Without having to resort to fiber pills, what do the folk in the community do about this important…

Calorie Count using Exercise Bands
I use exercise bands for upper body work. I notice you can enter reps and sets in MFP, but there is never a calorie count associated with it -- or maybe I'm doing it wrong. Any tips? Seems to me that there should be somewhat of a calorie burn with these exercises.

Hello from Tennessee
Hi Everyone! I've never participated in a "community" before but I believe with my weight loss journey, I'm going to need you. I need to get off about 60 pounds and I know it's gotta be one pound at a time (didn't get this way overnight!). I'm down about 5 pounds and can already feel the difference -- and I like it!
