Why is that that MFP doesn't give you any calorie credit for strength training?

    You're logging it in the tracking area rather than under cardio.

    Because the strength training entry is just for keeping track of your workout. If you want to log calorie burn, you use the cardio section to log your specific type of strength training -- circuit training, calisthenics, traditional weight lifting (which is called "strength training" in the cardio section), etc.

    Yep, go into Cardio and enter it there. It doesn't give you much. I get about 175 calories for 45 minutes.
