Difference in calories burned
So I've had my polar hrm for years and I love it. I also have a Samsung gear fit which I'm ..meh about. I did a walk on treadmill today for an hour. According to polar I burned 645. According to Samsung I burned 314...that's a big difference but the average heart rates seem to be similar. Which one do I count on?

P90X plus some?
I'm about at the end of my second month of P90x one more month to go and I'll have finished my first round. I'm getting a new food scale in the mail and I know that pretty much all of it should be my diet. I've tried to eat the best that I can but I'm not seeing great results. :/ Should I be adding more to my routines like…

Optimum heart rate?
When exercising I have my hrm set to a zone of 130-170ish, but I'm wondering if that's too big of a scale? When I get over 170 I definitely feel my head pounding. Which means I slow back down to the 150-160 range. But is it not enough for fat burning? I'm 5'5" and about 200lbs and 24 years old. I watch my heart rate while…

Am I doing something wrong?
Last week I started logging and going to the gym 4-5 times a week. My apartment has a small cardio room with just ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes. Ive been mostly doing cardio to get back into working out. But I've started bringing my dumbbells and my kettle bell and started working with those too. Last week with cardio…

Second week of running and pain?
So I'm on my second week of using the c25k app, and I tried moving on to week two doing the same 4 mph I was going before and I got this awful pain in the sides of my shins on both legs yesterday. I tried doing the exact same thing but going back to week one today and I still got the pain after about 15 minutes. This is…

Bc and weight loss?
I started back up on my birth control yesterday and I look worse than yesterday. Do you think that birth control just causes bloat or does it really cause weight gain back? I mean I don't even know if I've lost anything..but if my bc causes weight gain I don't think I'll ever be able to loose weight

Polar heart rate monitor vs gear fit?
I've had the polar heart rate monitor for a few years now and I've always really liked it. It comes with the sensor on the band you strap to your chest. I also have a Gear fit but I feel like it's not as reliable and you cant do much on it if you're not outside. Which one do you believe is more reliable? Is the polar hrm…

Working out 2x daily?
I'm thinking of splitting workouts into twice a day. Getting up early for things like strength or weights/pilates. Then I work 8-5 and I usually get home around 6/630 and workout cardio for about an hour. I mean...i live in an apartment complex on the top floor and we just have a small cardio room. I'm trying to think of…
