If there's a new way I'll be the first in line but, it better work this time.
Dropped 90 gained it all back. At least i didn't go over. Anyway I'm tired of worrying if my pants from last fall will fit when i finally need to stop wearing shorts. I'm sick of not even being able to find a belt to fit. I started gaining and I just didn't care. Anyway round 2 I don't want to count calories forever but, I…

Steps to Actity level?
I'm on vacation from work. I took 10k steps today but that was mostly walking to McDonald's twice once for coffee and once for lunch. Does that still count as lightly active? Been going overboard lately and am set at .5 pounds a week. Am I depriving myself?

Do you eat when hungry if out of calories?
I had breakfast at 5am which is about 3 hours earlier than I normally do. I have 360 calories left for 5 hours and worried I might get hungry. What do you do in situations like this?

Wifi Scale?
I have a mi band 2 and am thinking of getting a mi scale as well. Would that be a good idea to keep me honest? Or is forcing yourself to enter the weight by hand more enforcing?

I have less self control while maintaining then I did while losing
I went from around 250 pounds last september to about 165 this year. Well anyway the last couple of days have been brutal. I had about 500 calories leftover for the day after work and decided to go for a jalapeno mchicken which was 430. Well anyway the guy upsold me on a medium fries for $1 more which was 340. So yeah I'm…

Getting my body to self regulate again
I have been counting calories for over a year now. I want to try new things and eat at different restaurants without worrying about gaining weight. I need to come up with a system that doesn't involve counting calories. For people who can just eat til fill and stop how do you do it?

Dealing with uncertainty
When I was losing weight I would go out of my way to avoid eating stuff I didn't know down to an exact calorie count. Now I'm trying to maintain its growing old. I just wanted to microwave some leftover Chinese for lunch. I guessed on the rice part and weighed my orange chicken. There is no way 3 chicken chunks is 430…

Maintenance Calories at 163 vs 159?
Well I dropped down to 159 as of this morning but, have been eating at .5lbs at 163 and just haven't updated in awhile. Now it says my maintenance calories at lightly active are 2040 while before at .5 lbs a week loss i was eating like 2100. That doesn't sound right does it?

Can't make up mind whether to maintain or not
5"10 male 165 ish. Seems pretty good by standards of suburban Chicago but, still feel like I have too much extra abdominal and thigh fat and I'm not confident calling this my final form. For awhile now I've teeter totted with the idea of maintenance and losing more. Any advice?

Food scale for liquid?
My food scale has an ml option. I just used it to make a piña colada. I'm wondering if that would be accurate for liquid or if it's basically just spewing the grams number in ml? Seems easier than dirtying a measurement cup

Chai Tea Calories?
I just walked to coffee beanery because I wanted to try a new tea. Well I got a indian spiced chai and told them no sugar or anything but, it came out so frothy i have a hard time believing there was no cream in there. Just curious if i consumed a crap ton of calories unwillingly? It didn't taste very sweet

Is cycling really quicker for short trips?
I saw somewhere that for trips of less than 5 miles that riding a bike would actually get you where you are going faster than a car. Well I don't have a car and I live in a small town where I work roughly 1-1.5 miles depending on route I take. I work at a grocery store so hauling back a bunch of groceries is never a big…

I don't want to count calories forever
But I'm terrified of gaining it all back like so many people do. I had an impromptu dinner with family tonight and had bread with olive oil, pork tenderloin wrapped in zucchini, and a stew made from garden vegetables. It was probably the healthiest meal I have had in a long time and if I was counting calories i would never…

Creative Uses for Old Clothes
I just made my movie room darker using old black dress pants and poster board. I probably could have used cardboard boxes or hell I probably could have just painted the boxes black now that I think about it. Well anyway have you recycled any of your fat clothes in weird ways?

Meet All Nutrition Goals Through Prepackaged Microwave Meals and prepackaged snacks?
Long story short I'm going on vacation next month and plan to spend one day of it watching every single harry potter movie back to back to back to back. I would like to get all my nutrition goals through prepackaged stuff with enough room leftover for snacks. Should I just pop a multi or something that day?

Nutrition dense Asian snacks?
I'm trying to find snacks that are more nutrient packed then stuff I can find in the local suburban super market. I have an Indian grocery store around here and I already discovered Chana is pretty great. Also chicago Chinatown might be a good place to enjoy a day off so suggestions for Chinese stuff would be appreciated

Getting a six pack on as little effort as possible
Our one main resource is time. I realize now that it is even more valuable than money. I lost a lot of weight and no longer accept looking "normal" to be good enough. I want to look exceptional. I joined the gym today and want to turn my blank canvas of a body into something to be proud of. I want to go for maybe an hour a…

Negotiating Gym Price?
I lost about 75 pounds and now I feel like my body is just a blank canvas. I want to get some actual muscles but, the only gym within walking distance of my house (no car) is anytime fitness which they say is $45 a month. I'm hoping to get $35 or less. Do gyms negotiate price? Maybe even have cash discounts?
