For those who have lost and gained and are losing again (what I've learned)
I'm not done losing yet, but I feel like I've made mental improvements I've never expected, and wanted to share what I've gone through. On the right, two before pictures of highschool and college. I've never been a thin person, even back in elementary, so the first successful attempt (on the left) was novel to me. More…

I just had oven-roasted broccoli for the first time
My only regret is not having tried it sooner. Holy cow so good, and I'm somebody who does like broccoli cooked in other manners. Anything you've tried later in life that you wish you'd discovered earlier?

Today is PI day
Don’t forget to pick up some pie with your toilet paper. What is your favorite flavor? Is pie worth the calories to you? I like apple crumble with tons of crumbles, but I also like sweet potato pie.

If anyone is interested...
I took some time and wrote out my binge eating story. I put it in my blog so that people could choose more intentionally to read it, as it might be a little bit triggery. I've been binge-free for about 1 1/2 years, so it is a success story. https://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/RelCanonical/view/my-binge-eating-story-976435

Cotton Candy Burrito
I'm gonna make one of these, looks pretty easy. Just need to source the cotton candy. If you were making a cotton candy burrito, what would your fillings be? I'm thinking sprinkles, cocoa pebbles, and cake batter ice cream. https://gluttodigest.com/cotton-candy-burrito-ice-cream/ Gimme your filling ideas.

Your Weight Loss Advantages
Sometimes I like to consciously look at the things working in my favor because I tend to focus on what's working against me too often. One advantage I realized while reading threads is that I live alone. This makes it easier to avoid temptation, as I just don't keep tempting foods in the house. It also makes portioning…

Recommend me your favorite food scales
Mine's starting to turn off randomly, even with a fresh battery change. It's also started to dislike odd numbers. I fear it's on its last legs, and I want to have a backup anyways. Anything that uses AA or AAA batteries preferred. Thanks peeps.

Fun experiment with water weight
...here's a small experiment I did to show just how much water weight impacts the scale (and why the scale is a guide for weight loss, not a goal). Every Thursday at work we have delivery pizza. That morning, I weighed in at 174.2. I logged faithfully and as accurately as possible, and did not go over my calories for the…

I had cheesecake for breakfast
It was amazing. It was more amazing because it was free. What amazing non-traditional breakfast items have you had?

My scale had a seizure
I think it wants new batteries. I had to estimate my strawberries. D: Fortunately they were just strawberries and not like, cheese or something. I have to bring my work scale home until I find a screw driver tiny enough to fit in the tiny screw holding the battery cover open. Hopefully they use AA instead of AAA. It was…
