It was amazing. It was more amazing because it was free. What amazing non-traditional breakfast items have you had?

I had homemade mulberry pie for breakfast a few days ago.5

We always have pie for breakfast the day after Thanksgiving.
Mostly my non traditional breakfasts are dinner leftovers, or just something I would have for lunch or dinner. Back in the day I used to enjoy leftover Indian takeout for breakfast. I went through a phase where I was doing salads with protein on them. This past Sunday I had leftover pulled pork with some brussels sprouts and collard greens plus some radishes.2 -
@lemurcat12 i love last night's leftovers. That's my usual breakfast, it holds me until dinner time.1

I also do leftovers.
Recently: chicken stir-fry flambéed with whiskey... Still super yummy

I don't eat breakfast... but I love breakfast foods so sometimes I'll have bacon and eggs or pancakes for dinner!1

I love post-Thanksgiving pumpkin pie for breakfast.
Two benefits:
1) Pumpkin is a vegetable, right?
2) Pie!5 -
After my 5k the other day, they were handing out Carl's Jr cheeseburgers at 8 am. But for me, I would eat breakfast food for all meals if I could1

If it's someone's birthday (and with 7 people in my house, it seems like it's always someone's birthday) there's often cake for breakfast - both the day of and the day after.
And I bake a kick-*kitten* cake.

I don't eat breakfast but I did have a 100 Grand bar yesterday1

Sometimes I eat dinner items for breakfast, and breakfast items for dinner. Because.... the belly wants what the belly wants. So in a way, nothing is unconventional. I will most likely have veggie fajitas for breakfast tomorrow. Sometimes I have eggs and turkey bacon before bed.0

I had pistachios this morning (had no other options at home today). They were delicious, but I'm so hungry. Thank God lunch hour is 15 mins away.0

In high-school, our school canteen sold mini cheesecakes. They'd come frozen, and they'd take them out to defrost each morning.... I loved them frozen so would quite regularly eat one for breakfast when I got to school.
I don't really assign food to meals anymore... Anything goes! Perhaps soup or cake would be the most weird....2 -

I thought this was considered a breakfast food? Maybe my family is just weird, but that was our tradition the day after going out for pizza when I was growing up.

You are living life!!!!!!!
Non traditional breakfasts?? hmm.. pita breads is probably the most non-traditional I've gotten!1 -
Pizza, spaghetti and leftover scalloped potatoes fried in bacon fat!1

Usually my non-traditional breakfasts are just leftovers...more common in the winter, especially when we make green chile stew as it is excellent for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on a cold day. Sometimes I just like to have some salami and cheese. I don't really have a big sweet tooth so my non-traditional breakfasts tend to be of the savory variety.
My family camps a lot and I usually do some fishing when we're camping...I'm a horrible fisherman, but every once in awhile I luck out...when I do, I love having grilled trout and rice for breakfast.1 -
I've never been a breakfast eater, but I would definitely eat leftover Dairy Queen ice cream cake before school the week after my birthday growing up. Best part of waking up!0

I've never thought about toasting pound cake, but now I definitely need to try that! Do you top it with anything? I'm thinking like, peaches or strawberries, and whipped cream . . . . hmmm . . . . . maybe I just want a pound cake parfait . . . .0 -
pizza and whiskey seems to be the thing0
