Q for ladies
Have you noticed if your form of birth control has caused a hindrance to your weight loss? One of the side affects of mine is weight gain and I'm worried it will prevent me from my progress.

Banking calories?
What exactly does that mean? The total amount of calories under for the week? Example: I want to head out for sushi Monday and be able to still enjoy myself. If I look at weekly calories under goal it says 1500 as example. Does that mean I can eat near the 1500 cals and still be under deficit for the week?

Deficit question
How do I calculate my deficit? I have the date, net calories and goal calories per day in excel. I added up each day calories under goal or even and got a number around 2300 for the week. Is that my deficit? Also my fitbit is synced and doing calorie adjustment so I'm getting another 500 exercise calories for my steps…

I have read the stickies and know to put all my non step exercises in mfp and let fitbit do its thing for step based, however my bootcamp is a mix of weights and leg and crunches and mountain kicks etc that would count as steps technically. So I just got myself a fitbit. I have it to sync with MFP. Do i log my exercise calories on MFP or does fitbit do that automatically?

Amazed
I've been weighing and logging for 12 days now and I am amazed at how much food can be made for under 500 calories. I made some strip steak rice and veg plus all my oils and sauce for just a bit over 500 cals. I'm halfway done and getting full.

So I'm 5'5" and 245 lbs. Set to lose 1.5 lbs a week. My macros are 50/30/20. For a fat person I find it odd that I need 50% carbs? Is this right??

Tdee help
According to iifym my tdee is 2255. It says I should eat 1800 cals to reach my goal weight but mfp says I should eat 1540. If I'm calculating correctly that's almost 5000 deficit? An I calculating this correct? What's the formula?

I dont understand still
I have it set to lose 2lbs a week at lowest active. My goal is 1290 (which it was 1470 before I inputted my exercise?) and I have consumed 1238 cals in food. So 1290-1238+350=402 My net cals are only 888. So its the 1238 cals in food -350 cals burned = 888 net. Its 10 pm. How am I going to consume 400 cals now? It seems…

How accurate is it? My steps were 8000 and it says 500 cals burned. I did 40 mins walk around my local mall which is around 1km per lap so I did 2 but that said 180 cals. I just added 150 cals in my exercises.

I feel dumb
So i created my profile to lose 2 lbs a week. MFP gave me 1470 calories. I have been under all week but netting on average 1400 cals. I am under the assumption that this means if I consume x calories a day with no exercise, I WILL lose weight. Great. My problem is 1. how do i calculate a deficit or did MFP already do this?…

Explain please
So my normal calories are at 1470. However today I burned 700 calories at the gym. So now it says 1560-728+700=1532. How many calories do I have remaining? 1532 seems like a lot. It's dinner time and then maybe 1 snack before bed. I can't hit that 1532 before then. I'm still fullish from lunch.

So I decided to really accurately weigh myself since I'm on day 4 and was off by 15 lbs! Holy hell. So I changed everything in mfp and it dropped me down to 1470 cals (my height was off too). Mfp says 1540 cals where tdee says 2155. I'm so confused. I'm on day 2 and have been around the 1500 cals no exercise right now.
