Keeping a Journal of your diet

I feel horrible.. I'm back up to 141. Not the first time my weight came back up. I ate way too much these past two days. Whenever I'm with people with a lot of food, I feel I need to eat. Am I the only one that feels like I should do something to work off what I just ate? I feel like I should do some form of exercise to burn away calories to either make sure I have enough left for the day, or because I just feel fat...
