Weight Training oooor Yoga?
Hello Friends, I have been a bit of a gym rat for a number of years, but I really have run out of engaging and motivating resistance workouts so I have just stopped doing them in favor of cardio. Shinsplints...and what to do about them...
Hello! I have shinsplints. I think they are from 1 or 2 things: I run in the wintery north and wear running cleats and I think they have forced my foot to pronate (although just recently). I also wore crappy shoes for a few hours of walking. Oh 2 more possible reasons-I missed some stretching and I am training like crazy.…

Vegan/Vegetarian Proteins
Hey there friends! So I eat fish and eggs occasionally, but I, by and large, follow a diet that consists of vegan and veg foods, like lentils, nuts, etc. I am trying not to eat much tofu as it is not the best thing for you in light of recent studies and the reality of family heritage and it being a phyto-estrogen (and a…

New here
Hi! I am new to the site, but certainly not new to the trials and tribulations of weight loss. I joined because a lovely friend suggested it and I like it so far. It is currently helping keep me accountable. Any tips (particularly good ones) are welcome. I do not believe, however, that there are any easy short cuts :P
