HOOAH! 41 LBS DOWN!
Hey Group, Just thought I'd update. Just finished U.S. Army OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and since starting to use MFP last year I have dropped 41 lbs. I dropped around 20-25 lbs during my 19 weeks of training. Heading home and then to my duty station. Eating out a lot already during my trip home so in the morning I'm…

20 lb down!
I started getting in shape for the U.S. Army in September 2011. My first weigh in was at 216 lb with a Body Fat % of 25%. As of this morning I am 20 lb lighter at 196 lb. I haven't calculated out my Body Fat % but yesterday the Recruiting Station weighed and taped me at 25% still (crazy, isn't it...). I DEPed in at 207 lb…

Monday Weigh-In (Apr 23)
What is everyone at this fine Monday Morning? I'm at: -Weight: 202 lbs -Waist: 40" -Neck: 17.5" -BF%: 25% I ship Mid-May and trying to get my neck to 18" and waist to 39" and be under 200 lbs (195 lb preferred). That would put me at 22% BF. I've been stuck around 200-204 lbs for the last several weeks and just can't seem…

I'm doing this: -30-45min cardio (run/elliptical/stair master) -15-20min weights (different area each day) When I can I also go on a walk…

Bowel Movements
So something that is a "gross" topic but have a question: I always feel like I don't get a full bowel movement and I have excess poop in me "weighing" me down. Suggestions outside of enemas?

Dropping Off The Pounds...
So I'm about a week and a half from signing with the United States Army and going to MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) for the physical on Friday, October 21. My recruiter did my tape test* yesterday (Tuesday) and I was right at the limit for Body Fat Percentage (BFP). Recommendation from my recruiter was to do…

Workout Before Breakfast = ???
So I have heard several times and on different reports including one time where I saw Dr. Oz on one of the televisions at the gym that working out around 6:35am was the best time to work out and 7:35am was the best time to eat breakfast. So you are working out before you even really have anything you in stomach. The…

Nutrition Guide
Does anyone know of a good website in which I had build a nutrition meal plan? Or something like it? I track all my calories and work outs here on MFP but need something a little bit more for creating a meal plan. Thanks!

Working Out and Calorie Intake
Now when I was first introduced to MyFitnessPal my friend told me that when I work out I log that work out and that can give me "extra" calories for the day but I shouldn't eat those extra calories. Example: Daily Calorie Goal: 1500 Calories Burned During Exercise: 450 1500 + 450 = 1950 total calories Should I allow myself…
