Chicken - Weird?!
Basically I put 100g of chicken in the microwave (small strips), reccommended for microwave cooking :) When I took it out, it was only 55g. I put 100g in cause I needed 137 more calories. Does that mean then that I only had 55g worth of chicken, therefore 68.5 cals I hope not. Can someone enlighten me. I'm sure the weight…

my quaker oats smell weird

Difference between Brown rice and Wholegrain rice?
There is wholegrain rice that has less carbs and a LOT more fibre at 7.6g for 200g of rice (after cooking) but brownn rice only has 2g for the same size serving and more carbs. If I just boil eggs and throw the yolk away. From an average egg how much calories would 1 egg white likely contain? I think in 100g of an egg there is 147 cals - but how much of that is the yolk?

Good protein sources on a budget
I am on a very tight student budget, and need to up my protein as it has been taking a while to recover from my workouts! I need something that isn't high in fibre .. as I already get more than enough at almost 50g. No dairy :)

I am taking in 45g daily But am still under my calorie goal .. so need more food i.e pasta (wholemeal) which will take me over the 50g mark!

Massive stomach pains!

Lacking Meal ideas
I basically have breakfast; Oats and blueberries + an apple lunch - Chicken and sweetcorn sandwich and a pear tea - Fish, broccoli and cauliflower and that takes me to about 1700 I need more healthy meal ideas + some variation as I eat the same everyday! Can I do this?
I have a very long day at uni tomorrow .. Can I precook some pasta .. drain it and then put it in a container and take it to uni in my backpack and eat it say 3 hours later? Will it be ok? I won't be able to put it in a fridge or re heat it or anything, is this ok? Thanks :)
