Hi Just a quick question to all experienced runners out there. I am 6 weeks into a 12 week half marathon training programme. I am now up to around 30 miles per week across 4 runs: 1. Easy 40 mins to 50 mins 10 - 11 min per mile. 2. Treadmill tempo - 50 mins at 8:57 min/mile (with 10 warm up and 5 min cool down, 2% incline)…
Not sure if this counts but this means more to me than weight. I started at 41.7% in December and have just got lower than 18% for the first time since I know. My first ever measurement was 30+ years ago and I was over 22% then even when I was at my fittest. Never thought I would see this day! Just shows what anyone can do…

Hi All I am a 51 year old man living in the North West of England. In 2009 I lost 110 lb and ran the great north run. However I lost my job in Oct 2010 and simply piled it all back by overeating and no exercise. I want to do the Great North Run again next year so here I am starting again.:smile:
