Hip replacement and running
Has anyone had a hip replacment and then tried to start a running routine? Obviously I know this isn't a dr. office. I know all about sound medical advice, etc.... I had my hip replaced 12 years ago. Does anyone have any good websites explaining why you need to stay in a target heart rate with cardio? I can't manage to get mine below 140 yet I'm supposed to be closer to 120. I don't see how that'd happen while I'm moving.

Macros (most bang for your buck)
So I'm not only trying to keep my calories where I need them, but also working on getting my macros correct. What kinds of foods do you find are the most bang for you buck? I'm doing 40%protein 30% carbs, 30% fat. And I'm aiming for 30 grams of fiber (as I read in a group) I'm having a hard time getting fiber over 15 or so.

Every time I work out, or bend my knee, or go upstairs etc my right knee "crunches" that's the best way to describe it. How long will it take for this to go away? Is it normal? Yes I know I could see a Dr, but I'm just asking for advice/suggestions. It doesn't hurt at all.
