Advice on videos

I've been doing 30 day shred on and off for a couple months. This is the first time I've stuck to it and I'm almost to the level 2. I'm finding myself bored! I do love Jillian and I'm going to get some more videos. Those that have used her's before, other than 30DS, what ones would you recommend or NOT recommend. I'm still a fitness beginner but I'm working hard at changing that.

No More Trouble Zones and Burnt Fat Boost Metabolism are both great. NMTZ is longer than 30DS but it does allow you to choose certain segments if you are limited on time. If you go to Amazon.com, in the review section, someone has broken down what's covered in each segment.
I'd like to try her new kickboxing video. Her old one (part of the Biggest Winner DVD set) was really good.
ETA: A lot of libraries have fitness videos to lend.0 -

Do you think a beginner can do those videos? I don't want something that's so hard I can't even start.0 -
If you can do 30 Day Shred, you can do her other workouts. I started out with 30 Day Shred having not done any formal exercise other than walking and a little jogging for the couple of months beforehand.
Ripped in 30 is a good one that is set up very similar to 30 Day Shred - it has 4 levels instead of 3, you're supposed to do each one for about a week before moving on. It's set up with the circuits very similar - 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute abs. Some of the moves are the same or similar but there are also some very different and more challenging ones, she still has beginner and advanced versions of each move. I'm just finishing up week 4 and I've enjoyed it. Each level is around 30-34 minutes so just a tiny bit longer than the 30 day shred levels.
Banish Fat Boost Metabolism is almost all cardio, no weights used at all, although there is a good ab circuit thrown in there too. It's a little under 1 hour if you do the whole thing, but you can also play individual circuits if you want a shorter workout.
No More Trouble Zones is like BFBM's alter-ego - it is mainly resistance and weights. Also close to an hour but also with the option to play individual circuits. It might be good to alternate NMTZ and BFBM on different days since one is mainly cardio and the other is mainly strength/resistance.
Extreme Shed and Shred is pretty similar to all her other workouts, it alternates between strength and cardio stuff. It has 2 levels that are each about 45 minutes, there is also an option on the dvd to play both levels back-to-back for a workout that's about 80 minutes total. It's very challenging especially if you push it with the weights.
I just got the new Kickbox Fastfix and it's fun - it has 3 levels and each one is 20 minutes. One focuses more on upper body, one focuses more on lower body, and one focuses more on abs. It does use weights in addition to the kickboxing that you would expect. And there is a tutorial that you can play to try and get the basics down before doing the actual workout.
I love all these workouts, but next week I'm starting Chalean Extreme to try and switch it up a bit. I love that all of Jillian's dvds are around $10-$15 (sometimes even cheaper on ebay or amazon) so it's easy to change up your routine w/o going broke (well except for her new Body Revolution 90-day program, that will set you back around $120 plus shipping, similar to most other 90 day programs). I found a good deal on CE second-hand and can't wait to see what it's all about. :-)0 -

Nope, just weights like in 30 Day Shred. :-)0
