Calories burned in crossfit
I'm starting a crossfit boot camp this week and am not sure on how to record the calories burned. Does anyone have some idea of the calories burned during crossfit or suggestions on what I can record it under. I was thinking of using circuit training general.

Week 3
I slightly jumped ahead today and did week 3 run 1. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I managed both the 3 min runs and an extra 3mins to finish off!

30 day slim down

It seems that everywhere I look these days people are opting for protein shakes. What is up with that?! Are they really that good and are the health benefits really better than fresh natural food?

Cutting the carbs
I've always been a big carb eater - bread, potatoes, pasta, rice etc. I find when I don't have enough I get really lethargic and want to eat all the time. I now want to reduce my carbs a bit and replace them with more protein. Where can I get good protein without eating a ton of meat?
