Hello, My fiancé is 5'9 and 256. He wants to get down to about 200-220 depending on how he looks. I was curious to know what any of you males at this height and close to this weight are eating, and if you are losing weight. I currently have him eating 1800 calories per day. Hi, I am doing a 1200 calorie a day diet. I also work out about 5 days a week, doing mostly cardio and just a tad bit of strength training. How is it when I use subways nutrition thingy on their website it says the amount of lettuce they give you in a SALAD is worth 150 calories? I am confused can anyone help me? Is this accurate> That makes up 1/2 the calories in my salad today! Doesn't make any sense to me! HELP!

Pedometer with calorie counter.
Looking for good brands and models for a pedometer that not only tracks how how far you walk, but also how many calories you burn in that period of time. I don't want to spend too much money, but I really don't want to buy one that is not accurate or may fail on me in a short amount of time. All info is appreciated!

Question about burning calories...
Real quick, lets say I run 1 mile in 15 min ( i know horrible right?) And I burn lets say 100 calories, am I aloud to eat those calories. I am just using the running thing as an example. I guess the real question is can I eat the calories that I burn? Anyone know>? Thanks!
