How is it when I use subways nutrition thingy on their website it says the amount of lettuce they give you in a SALAD is worth 150 calories? I am confused can anyone help me? Is this accurate> That makes up 1/2 the calories in my salad today! Doesn't make any sense to me! HELP!

I just went on their site and did the "make your own" salad and only picked lettuce and it said my lettuce was 140 calories. I have no idea how they are calculating that unless they are figuring dressing but not showing it on the list. No lettuce is that high. Got me what they are doing. Shoot them an email and see what they say.

I agree, doesn't make any sense. So I just looked up each ingredient seperately and added it in seperatly. Tuned out at about 230 cal's for everything including my sweet onion sauce for my dressing! It was YUM!

one cup of shredded lettuce is 8 calories... So i'd say count everything else, and trust that even if you ate an entire head of lettuce, it probably wouldn't net you 50 calories...
