Hi, I am doing a 1200 calorie a day diet. I also work out about 5 days a week, doing mostly cardio and just a tad bit of strength training. I am wondering if I am aloud to eat some of the calories I burn from cardio back? And if so how do I determine how much I can eat and still lose weight.
One more question: I use fitbit and it syncs with myfitnesspal account, it tells me how much extra I can eat from the amount of steps I have burned. Can I eat those calories and still lose weight?
Thanks in advance for your time and advice!

You can eat all of them. You are already at a very large deficit at 1200 calories.0

Don't go below 1500 a day. I'm 43 and I think 1200 is a minimum for me, with no exercise. I'm losing 3lb a week.
up your numbers to stay energetic and focused.
Oh: edit. In case you look at my ticker and it doesn't make sense, I'm working my way back to my starting point after a bit of a whoopsie.0 -
I have a fitbit as well, and found that if I ate ALL of the extra calories it gave me, i was losing .5 lbs a week isntead of the 1.5 I had it set for. When I eat half of the exercise calories, ive been losing about 1.5lbs a week.0
