Let me tell you why- Hungry on the way into work, so made an active stop and had some extra breakfast. Why a success, well there was lots of cakes in the office, but I was able to turn them down. First 5K, is this addictive?
So after finishing the C25K about 10 days ago, I ran my first formal 5k ParkRun. What a great organisation ParkRun is makes everything so easy, even for a novice runner. Not my fastest time ever. Went off way too hard at the start and paid the price. Managed to get through, ran all the way and even managed a bit of faster…

I then plan to maintain over Christmas and then start again in the New Year. I have always been "big" and have been 18st+ for as long as I can…

What snacks do you eat in the car?
I do a lot of driving and find this a danger time for me. I used to just graze, fill up with fuel and grab a chocolate bar, see a drive by and stop for a burger. I have found that small things that I can nibble on seem to work. Blueberries, sunflower seeds. I am not hungry, just bored, so something that takes time to pick…
