Stairs
So... I've been trying to come up with creative ways to work out simply and for FREE. I've done C25K, working on 100 pushups, 200 squats, etc. and I walk 3.5 miles to and from work every day. I get bored so easily. I just realized, with the help of my HRM, that I can burn 100 calories in just 9 minutes of walking up and…

Logging calories
Is there a way to log the number of calories burned? I use a HRM, so I'd like to enter that number rather than pick and chose an exercise activity from the MFP database. How many calories for each meal?
I know this is going to be different for everyone. I'm just looking for a general, ballpark answer. On average how many calroies are "normal" for each meal? After three days I see a 4 pound drop in my weight. No, I'm not starving myself or exercising a ton. It's the same scale (a high quality one) and I'm weighing myself under the same circumstances (empty stomach, undressed). Is it REALLY 4 pounds in water weight? I've been drinking water, but not THAT much.

8 cups a day...
It doesn't seem right that everyone should drink 8 cups of water a day. I seriously don't think 8 cups is good for both a tiny 4'11" person AND a 6'5" person. That seems silly! Shouldn't how much water we drink depend on our height, weight and activity level? Does anyone know of a formula that takes these factors into…

Learning to Run or Jog
I want to start jogging regularly. Currently I'm unable to job for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time without feeling like I'm going to die. Haha! How do I get better at this... I'd like to work up to jogging/running a mile or two or more at a time. How do people work up to that? Thanks!
