So... I've been trying to come up with creative ways to work out simply and for FREE. I've done C25K, working on 100 pushups, 200 squats, etc. and I walk 3.5 miles to and from work every day. I get bored so easily.

I just realized, with the help of my HRM, that I can burn 100 calories in just 9 minutes of walking up and down 6 flights of stairs at my work. 100 calories on my break! How awesome is that?

It's silly, I know... but it blew my mind that I could walk a couple feet from my desk to the stairwell and get a nice little workout a couple times a day. No fancy clothes or equipment required. I really didn't expect to burn that many calories, so I never bothered doing it.
