I followed it strictly for quite some time and actually did pretty well on it and still use a lot of the principles (sp?) today. It's all about eating fresh and making everything from scratch... NO processed foods. It's very big on antioxidants and eating "good" fats from oils and olives and nuts. I have the book and it really spells it out for you, including recipes. It really is something that a person could get used to and do for life, if they have the time. The downside, for me, was that I was making trips to the grocery store 2 times a week and I have 3 kids. Kinda a pain when you're only used to going once a week at most. It definitely opened my eyes to what they put in food though... good luck to you!0
