In layman's terms, what exactly is it? My trainer did a set of exercises with me yesterday that only took about 10 minutes and I am sorer today then if I had done 60 minutes. She said it was met con. What is this?

Running, does it burn more calories then v fast walking?
I mean significantly more, cos I am sure it does burn more. I walk 5 miles in 60 mins.

Walking is hurting my hamstring, why?
For some reason I keep hurting my hamstring when I go on long walks. I do a 5k walk in 60 mins, am grand after it and that night I feel the pain coming on. I can go for miles on the treadmill in the gym yet the pavements get me. Could it be my trainers? I am wearing sketchers tone ups
