Knee stability
I talked to PT at work today because I'm concerned with blowing out my knee doing exercises since it is so weak and unstable. They suggested a brace for stability and of course to continue strengthening my core. Any suggestions on braces? My weak point is that tendon along the side. Does anyone else have issues w/ knees?…

why waste calories on protein powder?
Is it just me or does it seem like a perfectly good waste of 100-150kcal (more if you add milk) to drink protein powder. Not only that but most taste like a** in a bag. Probably a TMI question but here goes...
Has anyone experienced a slowing down of the ol' digestive track since losing weight? And what did you do to get the system running again? I've done the fiber supplements, I drink 150oz of water a day, I'm doing more fruits and veggeis, and have even resorted to laxative but its still "NO" go. Sorry for the TMI question.

So what are your strategies or tools that you use when temptation strikes. How do you resist when a well meaning individual offers you food out of the blue that is not planned or expected? How do you listen to the rational side and silince the impulsive "I want it now, it taste good" side?
