Last Day! :)
This was a great challenge, so thanks again Jaime. I had a lot going on at the end of the month, but knowing I had to make it to my goal was a big motivator to get out "there" and do something. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. :flowerforyou: :drinker:

Which is harder???
Finding time to get in exercise on days you work, or avoiding snacks at work???

4/3/12
I'm feeling good today. I got a nice run in at the gym, with warm up and cool down, it was 65 minutes, then I walked my dog for 10 when I got home (counting walking her as exercise for this challenge, but not logging those for mfp cardio), and did my ripped in 30 video for 30 minutes. Good exercise day in my opinion. Hope…

Food related NSV
Okay... so I gave up potato chips for the month of February... NOT a big deal, because I RARELY eat chips anyway, then all of a sudden two days ago... I was seriously wanting to get some BBQ chips from the vending machine at work, then BAM, I remembered my February goal. SOOOOOOOO... I decided to get a cake instead, though…

push-up NSV
This time last year, I could not do a single standard push up. Now I can do 20 in a set. I've done up to 4 reps of 20 & with my push up app, I'm up to 74 (next time it increases to 83). I'm very proud of this, since push ups were my enemy for a long time. My new nemesis is the evil pull up, but I shall conquer that next!…

Why So Serious???
I have only recently started answering posts in the Chit Chat category, but I notice quite a few people go on a post OBVIOUSLY not about diet or fitness, then judge people for having a little fun on the boards. Why bother even reading a post that makes its intentions obvious, whether it is about a joke, a rating, or…

NSV compliments of FB. :)
A (naturally) ridiculously thin friend of mine was going through my Face Book photos and said my body is amazing and whether I believe her or not, my stomach is flatter than hers. Made me blush. A friend of a friend was also looking through my pics and told our mutual friend that my body is "off the chain", and my friend…

NSV but *GRRRRR*
None of my favorite shorts fit... AT ALL!!! :grumble: I guess it is all my fault for intentionally buying them bigger than my size so they would sit nice and (decently) low on my hips!!! Guess I better go shopping!!!

My new "P" work out!!! ;-)
PUSHUPS, PULL UPS, and POLE DANCING!!! I think I'm going to make these three things the core of my work outs and really try to PUSH myself to the limit!!!

Opinion Seeking Rant!!! ;-)
When people see me and say, "you're too skinny", is it cuz I'm too skinny, or because they're too fat... and not doing anything about it??? Granted, I started at a healthy weight when I got on MFP, but I'm STILL at a healthy weight now. (according to BMI & body fat percentage AND my mirror). I haven't even lost more than…

Small NSVs x 3 (no pix)
#1 : Okay, might be a lil' silly, but as I'm walking home from the gym I stop to answer a text (it was raining and couldn't text and hold umbrella at the same time) and this random guy approaches me and asks if I'm a personal trainer. My first reaction was to just dismiss it as only a pick up line/ice breaker, but after…

Question for "Shredders"...
When doing the 30 Day Shred, do you work out in addition to that? If so, do you do your Shred workout first or after. Also, what type of workout(s) do you do, in addition. Lastly, how much time between the Shred workout and the other workouts??? Thanks in advance!!! :flowerforyou:

Seeing RED!!! :-/
Okay, today is the FIRST day with a VERY conscious effort that I was able to keep all of my "nutrients" within or below the normal ranges. (Today's personal goal - *YAY*). Problem : I was wayyyyyyyy under my calorie goal, *BOO* (though still over 1200). I'm VERY picky so I'm still working on the "best" foods, plus I need…

First post
Hey, I'm Louisa. I've been using the MFP app for about 20 days now and I think it is awesome. Just wanted to check in and say hi, since this is my first time really checking out the site. The message boards are great motivation and hopefully I can be motivated and contribute to the motivation of others. =)
