since january 1st i have been following MFP again. i have been logging anything that touches my mouth. feeling pretty positive...but i can always use some friends to help keep me motivated and i can do the same for you. always better to have a support team going through the same thing.

133 lbs to lose
I work in an office all day, up and down but nothing major. I haven not started exercising but I am going to start walking. I need to know how to figure out how many calories I am suppose to eat? Too low is bad and too high wont give me results can anyone help...If I choose sedentary on here it gives me like 1250 calories…

different apps different calories?
i get so confused on how many calories i am suppose to have to lose weight. mfp says i should be at 1670 i chose light activity because sedentary they said if for people who dont move around at all each day. i do have a desk job but i am up down up down all day. another app says i should be at almost 1800 calories a day.…

LOW CARBS
i would love to hear about low carb diets. how many carbs are you suppose to eat daily...i read atkins and it said 12-15 from veggies but no more than 20...i usually count calories but it seems to have slowed down and i need a big jump start right now...i just dont want to do anything unhealthy...today i am eating 4 to 6…

When you are done logging in your food and excersice for the day. And it gives you a weight of what you would be if you kept eating like you did that day for five weeks..Has anyone hit that number it tells you? I am just curious!!!!

Calories. I'm confused
Mfp has my calories @ 1340. Sedentary lose 2 lbs a week. My doctor today told me I have to eat between 1800-2000 a day to lose weight. He told me the 1340 is starvation for my weight. I'm afraid to eat that high of calories I know he's my doctor . It just seems like a lot. Please help
