i get so confused on how many calories i am suppose to have to lose weight. mfp says i should be at 1670 i chose light activity because sedentary they said if for people who dont move around at all each day. i do have a desk job but i am up down up down all day. another app says i should be at almost 1800 calories a day. and someone said at my size i should be between 1800-2000... i know if you dont eat enough it can actually halt your weightloss...

They are all approximations - and there are several formulas that can be used to estimate how many calories you burn in a day. From there you can apply a little trial & error to see what works for you. There's not a huge difference between 1670 vs. 1800. And the 1800-2000 may be assuming exercise, while MFP's 1670 assumes you'll eat more when you exercise.

6 of one, 1/2 a dozen of another...
