Quick question on "deficits"
So I understand that you need a 3500 calorie deficit to lose one pound. Can someone just help me clarify though the MFP stats? Example of today: Goal: 1400 Actual: 1363 Food - 494 Exercise = 869 Net So do I go by the 494 exercise deficit... ? Or is it the 1400 - 869 (net) = 531 deficit? Not normally confused, but I want to…

Starting TF Monday the 15th
Glad this group was started - I'm starting Monday the 15th. (Planned to last week, but got sidetracked by 1) a very bad cold/cough, and 2) my dad visiting from out of town this week). Since I'm still not over the cold/cough (bad cough) - I figured setting Monday gives me a few more days to recover.

Turbo Fire (Sculpt) question
For those who do Turbo Fire, how do you count the Sculpt and Tone workouts here on MFP? It's not weight lifting... so I wasn't sure what to count or how to know how many calories to count that it would have burned for a 30 min workout?
